Full WWE Sunday Night Heat Results - 1/19/03 Commentators: The Coach & Lita
Welcome everyone to the pre-Royal Rumble edition of Sunday Night Heat. There will probably only be one match tonight, but that’s ok. Coach and Lita are our hosts as usual.
The show opens with a flashback to the Torrie Wilson-Dawn Marie-Al Wilson saga. I can’t wait until the technical masterpiece they’ll be putting on tonight. They just announced that the Heat freebie match before the Rumble will be Steven Richards vs. Spike Dudley.
There’s a Shawn O’Haire promo. He’s all dark and mysterious.
Tough Enough III:
John hits a standing shooting star press, former trainer Tazz shows up and they go to see Smackdown live, where they meet Vince McMahon.
Last week Big Show was a guest on Conan O’Brien
Backstage Lillian Garcia is interviewing Eric Bischoff, asking his feelings regarding Vince McMahon’s ultimatum. Tomorrow on Raw he is going to drop a bomb that will shock the world.
Now they are recapping the Raw tenth anniversary show.
Spike Dudley vs. Steven Richards (w/ Victoria) Jackie is the special guest referee. The match starts off with the action outside the ring. Steven tosses Spike back in to the ring and goes on the offensive. Steven with a full nelson, but Spike breaks the hold. Knife-edge chops by Steven Richards followed by several knees to the stomach. Irish whip into the corner by Richards as Jackie screams at him. Then she tosses him off of Spike. Victoria climbs to the top rope and Spike knocks her off. He then hits the Acid Drop by running off of Victoria’s ass and pins Steven Richards for the win.
