Happy Sunday everyone. WrestleMania is only three weeks away, so let’s see what the WWE will do to build up this major PPV. Tonight’s review may be a little short, as I think I’ve eaten some bad seafood and have a major stomach ache. Anyways, enough about me, let’s get on with the show!

Sunday Night Heat Recap

Highlights of the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin are shown, and his subsequent thanking of the fans.

Lance Storm vs. Maven
Collar and elbow tie up to open, with Lance Strom gaining the upper hand with a wrist lock. Arm bar by Maven, followed by another wristlock. DDT by Lance Storm as Maven rolls out of the ring, and Storm takes control. Lance locks in a front face lock but Maven breaks the hold with a monkey flip. Flying burrito by Maven followed by a back body drop and a dropkick. Maven with a flapjack and goes to the top rope, where he hits a bulldog. Maven goes for an Insiguri, but Lance ducks the hold and locks in the modified Boston Crab. Maven breaks the hold, goes for a small package rollup, but Lance reverses it and locks in his Sharpshooter as Maven taps out.

Winner by submission: Lance Storm

RAW Highlights:
Highlights of the Jackie & Trish vs. Victoria & Jazz match are shown.

Rodney Mack (w/ Teddy Long) Promo
Teddy Long opens with a promo about his client and why he hasn’t been on Raw in three weeks. The first reason is because the man is keeping them down. Number two is because the man is afraid of what Teddy Long has to say, and number three is because Rodney Mack and Theodore Long are too tan for the man.

RAW Highlights:
Highlights of the Chris Jericho/Christian/Test/Stacy/HBK segment are aired. Jericho challenged Shawn Michaels to a match at Wrestlemania after beating him up.

The Rock – Steve Austin confrontation from Monday night are shown. Eric Bischoff told Rock that if he beat Booker T next week he could have a title shot at Wrestlemania if he wanted it. Austin subsequently beat up all the bad guys with a bunch of Stunners, and then faced off with the Rock.

Steven Richards (w/ Victoria) vs. The Hurricane
The match starts out back and forth with some early action. Hurricane attempts the chokeslam, but it is blocked by Richards. Power bomb by Steven Richards for a two count. Neckbreaker by Richards for another two count. Richards mocks the Hurricane by posing for the crowd. Richards follows with a side suplex and a knee in the back submission maneuver. Hurricane breaks the hold and reverses the Stevie T into a suplex. Clothesline by Hurricane, as he goes to the top rope for a high cross body, and a blocked Eye of the Hurricane. Richards hits the Eye of the Hurricane but Helms kicks out. Hurricane blocks the Stevie T, and hits the Vertibreaker for the win.

Winner by pinfall: The Hurricane

I’m not going to do a full blown commentary on tonight’s show, as I really don’t feel good, but I will make a couple of points.

Two matches? Are you kidding me? That’s a load of crap.

It’s too bad that the Vertibreaker is going away. That’s a solid move.

Let me get this straight, they cut D'Lo Brown, but continued the racial angle with a guy that is married to Jazz? That should be punishment enough.

There were too many Raw highlights and not enough actual wrestling

That’s all I’ve got to say tonight. Sorry for the short commentary, but I think I’m going to throw up, so I’m going to go lay down. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions, comments, or get well wishes.
