Hey gang, it’s your favorite weekend reviewer, the Miz, ready to review everyone’s favorite B show, Sunday Night Heat. I just woke up from an afternoon nap, so I’m still a little bit groggy, so hopefully the non-stop WWE action will wake me up………Or put me back to bed.

HEAT RECAP

La Resistance vs. Mark Jindrak & Garrison Cade
Tie up between Garnier and Jindrak to open the match as the two exchange grappling holds. Quick tag to Cade as he goes to work on the arm of Garnier. Garnier breaks the hold and tags quick into his partner. Cade and Garnier take their action to the outside as Cade gets face planted into the guard rail. The action goes back into the ring as we have seen very little of Jindrak up to this point. Well here’s Jindrak with the hot tag as he cleans house with some nice back drops and a flying springboard crossbody. Cade picks up Garnier and appears to go for an atomic drop, but Jindrak hits a beautiful high dropkick for the surprise pin.

Winners by pinfall: Mark Jindrak & Garrison Cade

- Backstage
Last Monday, Al Snow is ready to interview Steven Richards. Richards is laughing, and even though he just lost, he’s all about exposure for Stevie Night Heat. Stevie decides to re-instate Goldust, who apparently he suspended.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Nick Dinsmore
Some tie-ups to start with Tommy going on the offensive early, and Dinsmore playing almost a cowardly heel, as he kept running away from Tommy. Dinsmore seems to get some offense in as he locks on an armbar, going to work on the one body part. Dinsmore goes up to the second rope for a flying something, which is blocked by Tommy, who gets up and hits a neckbreaker and a back body drop. Tommy hits a second neckbreaker and a nice spinebuster, followed by the Death Valley Driver for the win.

Winner by pinfall: Tommy Dreamer

- Raw Highlights
Booker T defeated Christian to retain the Intercontinental title after a disputed finish

The Hurricane vs. Rob Conway
Hurricane extends his hand in a show of sportsmanship, but Conway hits some cheap shots. Conway does some moves on his own, and Hurricane mocks him. The action goes to the outside with Hurricane hitting a high cross body from the apron. Conway takes control and the action goes back to the inside, with Conway even getting a couple of near falls. Victory roll by the Hurricane for a two count, followed by a flying burrito from Helms. Hurricane hits an incredible Tornado DDT, followed by the Shining Wizard for the three count.

Winner by pinfall: The Hurricane

- Backstage
Jackie is standing in the back, and Val approaches her about joining his porn company. Rico steps in and asks Val if he can be in one of Val’s videos. Val tells him that Venis Video doesn’t make “those” kind of videos.

- Raw Highlights
Kane set JR on fire.

Val Venis vs. Rico (w/Jackie)
Val is about to cut one of his classic promos, but is interrupted by Rico and Jackie, as they begin their strut down the ramp. Rico tries to kiss Val, but Val is having none of it. He then grabs Val’s ass. Tie up to start, until Rico jumps into Val’s arms and kisses him on the head. Val is obviously getting very angry with this. Now the action starts as the two exchange arm bars. Rico breaks the hold and begins somersaulting and prancing around the ring. Val has seen enough as he hits some big punches and a knee drop. Irish whip reversal by Rico as he locks on a sleeper hold. Val counters with a sleeper of his own. Now Rico counters with a back suplex. Val hits a spinning spinebuster, followed by some chops, until Jackie trips Val. Rico with a victory roll, grabs the tights and steals the win.

Winner by pinfall: Rico

HEAT REVIEW

La Resistance vs. Mark Jindrak & Garrison Cade
Well that was an interesting match-up. What’s the deal with the tag champs opening up the B show, and then doing the job to a couple of rookies. Granted the tag champs are rookies also, but still! That dropkick that Jindrak hit on Garnier was beautiful; he had to have been at least seven feet in the air! Jindrak is from about 20 minutes from here, so it’s good to see a local boy make good.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Nick Dinsmore
Not a bad match, as we got to see all of Tommy’s offense, as well as some nice stuff from Dinsmore. He’s an OVW guy right? Not much to say about this one though as it was nothing spectacular. I always enjoy seeing Tommy’s Death Valley Driver though. We don’t get to see it that often, so it’s always a treat when we do.

Backstage
I think it’s so great how Steven Richards is calling himself the GM of Stevie Night Heat. Funny stuff right there.

Raw Highlights
For the second week in a row we’re given a disputed finish in the Booker T-Christian feud. I do like this feud a lot though, as my friend Kyle and I have declared that Christian rules.

The Hurricane vs. Rob Conway
Pretty solid match here, as the rookie got some decent offense in, and the Hurricane got to showcase his stuff. He’s a lot like Matt Hardy I think, as it seems that he comes up with a new move every time we see him. And I enjoyed how Al Snow said that it looked like Hurricane had a tossed salad on his head. That almost sounded like a Tazz-ism. Now onto Rob Conway. Was it just me, or did he look like he was wearing tighty whiteys with a pink band around them. I’m sorry, but unless your name is Steven Richards, no one should ever wear pink. NO ONE.

Backstage
Now Val rules! I was wondering how long it would take for him to try and get in Jackie’s pants. She’s so hot.

Raw Highlights
This segment was weird, with the torching of JR by Kane. It was very weird. I must say that it was gripping enough to shut the entire crowd up as they seemed shocked. And Austin also looked very concerned.

Val Venis vs. Rico (w/Jackie)
Not much action in this match, as it was under a serious time constraint. Rico got to use all of his happy moves as he further tries to get his gimmick over. I had actually spoken to Keith the other day, and he said that he really likes what Rico is doing with his character. He enjoys all of the pastels and as he called it “pretty face paint.”

That’s all for tonight kids, Heat was pretty good, and I’ll see you next week!
