Hey everyone, let’s get ready for Heat. It’s actually almost time for Raw, so I’m a little bit behind, so let’s get started.

HEAT REVIEW

Rodney Mack (w/out Teddy Long) vs. Tommy Dreamer
Rodney starts by telling us that Teddy Long is not around because whitey got a hold of him, and he needs medical attention. Mack calls out any white boy that wants a shot, and here comes Tommy Dreamer.

Tie-up to start with Tommy taking the early lead. The match goes to the outside, with Mack tossing Dreamer shoulder first into the steel steps. Mack follows up with some punches and kicks, as well as a DDT-type armdrag. Mack applies a face lock, but Dreamer breaks the hold with some punches and hits a neckbreaker. Punches are exchanged, and Tommy hits an elbow to the face, followed by another neckbreaker for a two count. Tommy hits a big DDT for a two count, as Mack puts his leg on the rope. Following the two count, Tommy goes to the outside and finds himself a Singapore cane hiding underneath the ropes, but doesn’t get to use it, as Mack clotheslines him, and applies an “unorthodox” submission maneuver, also known as the Cobra Clutch, as Tommy Dreamer taps out.

Winner by submission: Rodney Mack

- Backstage
Last week after Stevie Richards got speared by Goldberg, he is in the locker room icing down his ribs, he then grabs a towel boy and turns him into an announcer. Stevie tells the towel boy that if Goldberg were on Stevie Night Heat, he would beat him. The towel boy says that Goldberg would still kick his ass, and Stevie does his best Vince McMahon impression, and “fires” the towel boy. But wait here comes Al Snow. Stevie tells us that he has bigger and better fish to fry on Stevie Night Heat, and that is Goldust.

Maven vs. Aaron Stevens
The two open up with some mat moves and some tie-ups and rest holds. Aaron Stevens hits a great backbreaker on Maven and goes on the offensive. Maven attempts a dropkick, but misses, as Aaron Stevens continues to work on the lower back of Maven. Stevens then applies an abdominal stretch that lasts for around a minute, until Maven breaks the hold with an arm drag. Maven battles back with some punches and a clothesline, followed by a flying forearm. Maven goes to the top rope, but falls off as Stevens shakes the ropes. Maven goes up to the second rope and hits a flying DDT for the pinfall victory.
Winner by pinfall: Maven

- RAW Highlights
Goldberg and HHH talk trash, Goldberg challenges Ric Flair to a match on Raw.

Lance Storm vs. Spike Dudley
Lance grabs the mic and tells us that he is not boring. Here comes his competition, Spike Dudley. Lance opens up the match with a back breaker and some serious kicks to the back of Spike Dudley. He then hits a delayed vertical suplex, as he kept Spike in the air for several seconds, and a two count followed. Lance applies a front face lock, but Spike breaks the hold, hits a flying head scissors, and gets some serious offense in. He tried for another flying head scissors, but Lance counters for a two count. Spike with an unorthodox rollup out of nowhere for the three count.

Winner by pinfall: Spike Dudley

Goldust vs. Steven Richards (w/Victoria)
The two weirdos have a staredown to start, then they exchange punches, culminating with Goldust hitting the butt butt, followed up by a bulldog, and he tosses Stevie out of the ring. The action moves to the outside, with Stevie gaining the upper hand, as he slams him into the ring and the crowd barrier. Steven mocks Goldust by rubbing his own chest. He then applies a rear chinlock to Goldy, but the hold is broken by some shots to the midsection. His attempts are thwarted as Steven hits a neckbreaker for a two count. Goldy hits a neckbreaker of his own as both men hit the mat. Both men get to their feet at the same time, but Goldy has a Tourette’s attack. He hits the patented lay on the ground slap to the face, the inverted atomic drop, followed by a Rock bottom type maneuver for a two count. Goldy then sets up Stevie for the Shattered Dreams, but Victoria comes running. Goldy hits a drop toe hold on her, she falls into Stevie’s sack o’plenty, Goldust hits the Curtain Call for the three count victory.

Winner by pinfall: Goldust
