Rawhide Strap Match America's Most Wanted d. Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger w/ Glenn Gilberti There were four belt-like straps that were tied to the four top ropes by thin straps, so an opponent had to be moved near the ropes in order to be whipped. At the end, Harris put Diamond on his shoulders, after knocking Swinger from the ring, and Storm hit a reverse DDT on Diamond off the top rope for the pin. After the match, Gilberti stole the title belts as Swinger and Diamond administered a post match beatdown.
Backstage, Jerry Lynn was talking with the red shirted security, who told him that Don Callis informed them not to let him in the building. Don Callis walked up, and told Jerry that he was banned from the building for his tendency towards excessive violence. Callis gave Lynn a list of rules he needed to follow. Lynn tossed the list in his face, and tossed his bags around. Lynn walked off, and Callis grinned.
Pre-taped interviews with Michael Shane, Joey Matthews, Danny Doring and Shark Boy (with Norman Smiley doing the talking) aired, discussing the four way match to determine the number one contender to the X-Division Title.
#1 Contender 4-Way Elimination Match Michael Shane d. Shark Boy, Joey Matthews and Danny Doring It was tag team rules, with two men in the ring and two on the apron. After a very close match, Shane was laid out on the floor, while Doring, Shark Boy and Matthews were going at it in the ring. Elix Skipper came in and hit Doring with a reverse released powerbomb, laid out Matthews, and gave Shark Boy the Play of the Day. Skipper then got on the announcers table and talked about how he wanted to beat Jerry Lynn down, but since he wasn't here, he beat up these guys. Skipper said he would continue to beat people up until he got Lynn in the ring. Skipper left, and Shane got back into the ring, and superkicked Matthews and pinned him to eliminate him. Shane then eliminated Danny Doring with a superkick. Shark Boy blocked a superkick and hit a neckbreaker for a two count. Shark Boy pounded Shane in the corner and bit him. Shark started to do the Big Wiggle. Shane reversed a whip and hit a cradle DDT for the pin.
In the ring, Shane Douglas talked about how he beat Raven last week. Douglas said TNA needed a superstar like him to survive. Douglas said that his issue with Raven had nothing to do with the New Church, it had to do with the two of them. Douglas said Raven could get his "ass Franchised" tonight. Raven entered through the crowd, carrying a body bag, and attacked Douglas. They two went at it, trading punches. Douglas hit a low kick, and the fight went to the floor. They made it back into the ring, where Raven hit a superkick and a DDT. Raven flattened out the bodybag, when James Mitchell's voice came out across the arena. Mitchell and the New Church appeared on the screens. They had Julio Dinero and Alexis tied up with them, and Lee had a flaming stick. Mitchell said Raven could stay in the ring and finish off Douglas, or he could come to the back and save his friends. Raven ran to the back, and as Douglas got up in the ring, he started laughing.
Kid Kash d. Larry Zbyszko Kash stalled on the apron and floor early in the bout. When they locked up, Zbyszko outwrestled Kash and forced him down in a corner. Kash ended up getting into it with the referee, and the ref slapped Kash to the mat. Kash put Zbyszko in a sleeper, but Zbyszko broke free, only to be put in a claw. Zbyszko put Kash in a testicular claw to break out. Zbyszko backdropped Kash, and rubbed his face in the mat. Zbyszko put Kash in an over the shoulder backbreaker, when Abyss ran in. Abyss charged Zbyszko, but Larry moved, and Abyss hit Kash. Zbyszko hit Abyss with some punches. The referee then checked on Kash, while Abyss gave a sideslam to Zbyszko. Kash then covered Zbyszko, and the referee counted the pin.
Scott Hudson found Raven backstage, who was in the room where the New Church had been. Raven smashed a chair against the wall, and said he was coming for Mitchell.
James Mitchell and the New Church were in the ring with Alexis and Julio still tied up. Mitchell said Raven was going soft in his old age, since he tried to help his friends rather than finish off Douglas. Raven hit the ring and took on Lee and Slash by himself, using a trashcan lid. Raven got a hold of Mitchell, but Shane Douglas hit the ring and gave him a belly to belly suplex. The New Church and Douglas beat down on Raven. Dinero broke out of his bounds and tried to go on the offense, but he was tossed from the ring. The New Church and Douglas then put Raven in the body bag he brought to the ring earlier, and zipped him up in it.
Scott Hudson interviewed Glenn Gilberti, Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger. They were in possession of the tag title belts, and mocked America's Most Wanted. AMW showed up and started brawling with them, dragging them back into the building. They made it into the ring, where AMW kept up the assault on Simon & Swinger. Gilberti made it into the ring and hit Harris and Storm with one of the title belts. Gilberti, Diamond and Swinger then got the straps from before and whipped AMW with them, leaving them laying.
Chris Sabin vs. Frankie Kazarian went to a no-contest for the X-Division Title Kazarian hit a leg lariat and a lariat early, and tossed Sabin into the turnbuckles. Kazarian followed with a dropkick in the corner for a two count. Sabin came back with a back elbow and a German suplex into the turnbuckles. Sabin hit a lariat out of a kip up for a two count, and took over with forearms, kicks and knees. Sabin went for a slingshot, but Kazarian kicked him in the head, sending him to the floor. Kazarian missed a baseball slide, and Sabin hit a series of chops, but Kazarian hit a DDT on the floor after Sabin tried to backdrop him. Back in the ring, Sabin went for a moonsault, but Kazarian stopped him and gave him an electric chair off the middle rope. Kazarian went to the top, and Sabin twice went up with him to try and stop him, finally succeeding and hitting a released Northern Lights suplex from the top rope. They slugged it out on the mat, and the referee got bumped. Sabin hit Kazarian with the belt and got the pin. However, a second referee came out, explained the belt shot and demanded that the match be restarted. The referees argued about the restart, while Kazarian hit the Wave Of The Future on Sabin. The second referee counted the pin and declared him with winner. The referees argued again, and head referee Rudy Charles came out. He took the belt, and said he would be going to Erik Watts, Director Of Authority, for an official decision.
Christopher Daniels did a promo from the crowd, talking about how following tradition for nine years got him nowhere, and praised Sports Entertainment. He talked about the metamorphosis of TNA into Sports Entertainment, and said that tradition will not stand in the way of it. He asked fans if they were willing to embrace change, and had fun at the expense of some of them. One "fan" tossed a soda at him, so Daniels beat him up until Jeff Jarrett came out to run off Daniels. They were setting up the cage for the main event. Jarrett sat down on a chair in the middle of the ring, and said he wasn't leaving. He called out Daniels, but the red-shirt security came out instead. Jarrett held them at bay with his chair. The black shirted security came out and we ended up with a shoving match between black shirts and red shirts. Meanwhile, Daniels snuck back into the ring and attacked Jarrett. Jarrett got the advantage, but the red shirted security pulled him off so Daniels could hit a low blow and the Last Rites on Jarrett. Daniels stood over Jarrett as the segment ended.
America's Most Wanted came out to ringside. They announced that next week, they would face Simon Diamond, Johnny Swinger, and Glenn Gilberti in a six man match. They then announced that their partner was on the phone. Dusty Rhodes voice came over the phone, and he promised to take care of Gilberti next week. Dusty said he was going to go find his bullrope for next week.
NWA World Heavyweight Title Cage Match AJ Styles d. D'Lo Brown They felt each other out early, with neither getting an advantage. Styles tried to dropkick Brown into the cage, but Brown blocked it. More back and forth, and Styles went for a rana off the mat, but Brown blocked it. Brown turned it into a slingshot, but Styles jumped onto the second rope and launched himself backwards into a flying elbow on Brown. Styles hit a lariat, but Brown came back with a short arm clothesline. Styles hit a low kick on Brown, then hit a pair of kicks, one to the back and one to the chest. Styles was whipped into the cage, and tried his launch spot again, but Brown caught it and rammed Styles back first into the cage. Brown the rammed Styles face first into the mesh. Brown raked Styles face across the cage. Styles was soon bloody. Brown picked up Styles and sent him back down with a lariat. Brown slammed Styles and went up to the top, but Styles crotched him on the top rope, then hit an enzugiri. Styles hit a baseball slide dropkick on Brown, then hit a second one, sending Brown face first into the cage. Brown was soon bleeding as well. Brown hit a back elbow on Styles and hit a Samoan Drop. Brown hit a released German suplex and a backdrop. Brown hit a lariat, but Styles fought back and went for a Styles Clash, but Brown blocked it and hit a spinebuster. Brown went to the top rope and hit the Lo Down frog splash for a two count. Brown charged AJ, but Styles elevated Brown into the cage, then brought him down with a powerbomb. Styles kept his grip and hit a Styles Clash for a two count. Styles went for it again, but Brown rammed Styles into the cage back first and hit a powerbomb. Brown rammed Styles into the cage again, then hit the Sky High spinerbuster. Brown went to the top of the cage. Russo threw powder in the eyes on Watts, and tried to shake the cage so Brown would fall. Watts, blinded, pulled Russo towards him by the chain, picked him up, and rammed him into the cage. The force of this, caused Brown to fall to the mat from the top of the cage. Both Brown and Styles were lying on the mat, and Styles put his arm over Brown for the pin. Sonny Siaki, Vince Russo, Legend and Trinity got in the ring to celebrate with Styles. Russo took the mic and said that there were no challengers left for Styles, as the show came to an end.
