- The show started with Jeff Jarrett coming out to the ring. Jarrett got on the mic, calling out Dusty Rhodes. Rhodes came out but Jarrett wouldn't let him speak. Jarrett said Rhodes is like all the other icons - Bret Hart, Roddy Piper, Randy Savage & Hulk Hogan - all selfish and out for themselves. Jarrett announced he was leaving the building.
- TNA Red Shirt Security (Ryan Wilson & Kevin Northcutt) defeated D'Lo Brown & Chris Vaughn when Northcutt pinned Vaughn following the Northcutt Driver (a double arm piledriver). After the match, Wilson and Northcutt went to handcuff D'Lo with Don Callis, but Erik Watts ran out and made the save.
- Dusty Rhodes did a taped sit down interview with Mike Tenay. Rhodes put over how big it was for him to win the NWA World Title in 1979 for the first time.
- Michael Shane defeated Chris Sabin to retain the X Division Title & win the Super X Trophy when Shane held onto the tights and ropes following a roll-up on Sabin.
- Simon Diamond, Johnny Swinger & Glenn Gilberti defeated 3 Live Kru in an Elimination Match. Konnan was the first to go out, getting pinned by Swinger following a double downward spiral. Swinger was the second to go out when he was pinned by BG James following a pump handle slam. BG James was the third to go out when he was pinned by Diamond following a superkick from Gilberti, leaving Ron Killings vs. Glenn Gilberti. David Young was at ringside and threw a steel chair into the ring, hitting Killings in the process. Gilberti went for the pin on Killings and got the win for his team. Young then hit the ring and started beating down Killings when BG James and Konnan came back out to make the save, beating up Young in the ring.
- Backstage, James Mitchell cut a promo, saying that Sinn had a high tolerance for pain. Slash was showing throwing darts at Sinn's back that stuck on him.
- Christopher Daniels defeated "The Future" Frankie Kazarian when Daniels hit the Angel's Wing for the pin.
- America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris & James Storm) defeated Kid Kash & Abyss w/ Terry Taylor as the Special Guest Referee when Storm superkicked a steel chair into Kid Kash's face for the win. After the match, Kash started slapping around Abyss. Abyss seemed to take it for a while until he fought back, starting a big brawl between himself and Kash. Crowd was really into the brawl.
- Backstage, Don Callis talked about no one having any fiscal responsibility so he is the one who has to do everything. Callis added who is going to pay attention to the bottom line, D'Lo Brown? (For those of you who didn't know, Brown was an accountant before becoming a pro wrestler, hence the joke)
- A Shane Douglas promo was shown. Douglas put over how he was the guy who invented household terms such as the Triple Threat, the shoot promo and The Franchise. Douglas put over he was looking for a new "franchise" for him to lead.
- Raven defeated Sinn following the Evenflow DDT for the win. After the match, Slash and Vampiro hit the ring and started attacking Raven. They dragged Raven to the top of the balcony in the arena and tried to hang him, but Julio Dinero and CM Punk made the save.
- Dusty Rhodes cut a promo, bringing up how old men can beat up young guys just like Randy Couture beat up Tito Ortiz at the last UFC PPV.
- AJ Styles defeated Dusty Rhodes to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Title. Following a ref bump, Rhodes put Styles into the Figure Four and Styles tapped out. No referee was awake to make the call. Rhodes let go of the move, Styles went to the outside and got a bat, brought it into the ring and hit Rhodes in the leg with it. Styles then locked on the Figure Four, holding onto the ropes for leverage. Rhodes passed out from the pain and was pinned.
After the match, Vince Russo, Sonny Siaki, Ekmo and AJ Styles all beat down Dusty Rhodes in the ring. America's Most Wanted hit the ring and brawled with Siaki and Ekmo. Jeff Jarrett eventually hit the ring and took out all the heels with steel chair shots. Jarrett teased hitting Dusty Rhodes, but pulled back when Dusty pleaded with him not to.
