PTW sent this in:

It's now time for the final press release for the show, as Power Trip Wrestling present "Against The World", on May 31st, at Marriots School, Stevenage. We'll now take you through from the opening match to the main event, in an in depth preview so you know what to expect on the night....

Scott Star VS Les Vegas

This match has been recently added to the card, and Scott Star is making his PTW debut, but he has not been quiet about it in the least. As far as he is apparently concerned, he isn't coming to PTW to make friends or respect authority. This was recently evidenced when asked about PTW's boss Peter Staniforth, he said "I don't give a damn about him or his beloved Luton Town FC, and if he has a problem with that, he can take it up with me to my face". When told of these comments, Peter just laughed and said "Some people, eh? And I've never been afraid to say anything...to anyone. Let's see how he behaves on the night, shall we?". His opponent, is loud, colourful; and just a little bit crazy! His name is Les Vegas, and truly, no words can do him justice; you have to see him to believe him. Will Scott Star's arrogance give him a winning debut, or will the sheer unpredictablity of Les Vegas take him out of his gameplan?

'Council Estate Trash' Tommy Stevens & Mikey The Pikey VS Aphrodite & Mr Portugal

PTW has a new tag team around, and they're offensive to say the least. Tommy Stevens, the quintessential chav, and his tag team partner Mikey The Pikey (and the name says it all), collectively known as Council Estate Trash; are coming to Stevenage on May 31st. The sensitive and well moraled will want to stay back when they're around, as they face off against the popular intergender tag team of Aphrodite and Mr Portugal, who are looking to shake off the underdog tag in this match and take a victory over their veteran opponents.

"The New British Dandy" Quentin Quinn VS Del Rico

Del Rico is a newer name to wrestling, who has been making his mark in other companies such as BRAWL, and most recently BHW. He is a young wrestler, with a good look, especially popular with the ladies; who is looking to make his mark now on PTW. Quentin Quinn is appalled by having to get in the ring even, with Del Rico, and claims his status as a gentleman and being "a class way above you" should make him exempt from having to wrestle against what he considers people who aren't worthy of being in the same building as him.

Paul McSherry & Kevin Carter w/Peter Staniforth VS Darren Mason & Adam James Bullivant

In what some consider to be 'North vs South', in what others are calling a power struggle between four young men who are looking to make PTW their own; we have a tag team encounter with two very different teams. Paul McSherry relies on his power and strength, and Kevin Carter's enthusiasm and ability to fly; make them an interesting team. McSherry is the bodyguard of Peter Staniforth, and to add to this is the rather bizarre father/son type relationship that Staniforth shares with Carter. Taking on the team Peter affectionately termed as 'my boys', are two wrestlers from NGW (New Generation Wrestling), which is based in Hull; and they are Darren Mason and Adam James Bullivant. Full of brash overconfidence, and a self belief second to none, Mason and Bullivant are on a mission for the Northern wrestlers in PTW to take over the company. This one is liable to get lively.

Lucian VS Frantastic

The intensity level is off the charts in this one. Lucian was betrayed by his tag team partner Braddock at PTW 'Pushing Limits' in March in Luton, and now has his chance finally to get revenge on Braddock's best friend; 'The Scouse PowerHouse' Frantastic. No words can do the bitterness and bad feeling involved here justice, and some at PTW are a little bit worried that the ring might not be enough to hold the anger in during this match.

* Contenders Match - Winner becomes No 1 Contender to The PTW Heavyweight Title* QT McFluff VS Barry Ryan w/Dan Edge

He's big, he's flamboyant, he's loud....He's QT McFluff! Not many have ever come to PTW, and on their debut, been the focus point of the advertising and the poster for the show; but this is what QT has achieved. He's looking to become the number one contender for the PTW Heavyweight Title, as PTW Heavyweight Champion Shabazz will not be there on May 31st due to other commitments that sadly could not be avoided. Standing in his way, is a man with a great reputation, and a very talented opponent - no less than Barry Ryan. With the added factor of Dan Edge requesting to be in the corner of Barry Ryan, in his never ending quest to control the PTW Heavyweight Title; who will come out on top in this one?

* PTW Cruiserweight Title - 6 man tag team match - If 'G' is pinned by an opposing team member, he loses the title * G 'The Ghetto Superstar' (c), Matt Myers, & Geraden VS Dan Ryder, Kid Glory, & Danny Devine

And the main event of the evening, sees six man tag team action, and the PTW Cruiserweight division take centre stage. In what will feature both solid mat wrestling, and highflying action, the team of PTW Cruiserweight Champion G 'The Ghetto Superstar', Matt Myers, & Geraden face off against former champion Dan Ryder, Kid Glory, & Danny Devine. Many PTW fans are excited about this match, in what many are predicting being one of PTW's best matches in it's fifteen month existence so far.
