2008 Top 50 Men and Women Independent Wrestlers.
The criteria is simple. We are looking for Independent Wrestlers world wide for our top 50 not because of who, where, or how many times or championships won. You will be in the magazine because you are a master of your craft and being selected into Indy Illustrated's Top 50 male and/or female wrestlers on the indy scene in 2008 means that until the last breathe from the last kid to ever have the guts to step between those ropes whether it be in front of 50 or 50,000 fans is the reason for the magazine known as Indy Illustrated and our Top 50.
Its open criteria my friend. No limits. No Rules. Just plain judgement as you as a professional wrestler and what you bring to the table. No Comparisons are made as opposed to others until we get down to the top 10 and EVERYTHING will come in to play. So basically ran just like an Indy show only there will be judges to note your Professional Wrestling Ability. Whatever that means to you is what the rules are. There are many fans of many styles that's why this list will be so unique and well rounded that we hope it to be the meter to judge and launch careers from.
As the list is narrowed down to the top 10 there will be an Indy Illustrated's Official Election Committee put in place to establish the top 5 in the world. These votes will be cast by individuals selected from across the world and will vote just like The Heismann is voted on. Its non-political and will give an objective approach from over 51 voters from across the world.
The reason behind Indy Illustrated is the fact that we saw Nattie Niedhart for several years and established a quick relationship as we saw her as one of the best talents out there............however fastforward to now and we have no real proof that we knew she would make it into the upper elite of Professional Wrestling. Those are the rules and that's why we're doing it. To credit the wresters that DESERVE the credit for their work and not WHERE they work.
Sincerely,
Josh Richards
