FEATURING:
The Midnight Express w/”The Louisville Slugger” Jim Cornette
Original WWE Diva Tammy “SUNNY” Sytch
Legendary Valet “The Perfect Ten” Baby Doll
NWA Legend “The Raging Bull” Manny Fernandez
Our main event of the evening will feature The Midnight Express with their manager Jim Cornette as they take on the challenge of local resident and Louisa’s most hated resident “The Manager of Champion” Neil Sharkey as he brings in the team that has been calling out the Midnight Express for quite some time, The Old School Empire (“Mr. Mid Atlantic” Damien Wayne and “Big Time” Mike Booth). For the last 5 years The Old School Empire have made a name for themselves in both tag team and singles dominating nearly every top federation in the mid atlantic region. This has been a very highly talked about match up the fans have wanted to see for a long time. On June 28th, it will finally happen and it is going to happen in Louisa. What does Neil Sharkey have up his sleeve for Cornette and what does Cornette have up his sleeve for Sharkey?? Will the Midnight Express prove they are the best team ever by defeating the best team in the area right now? Come and find out on June 28th at Summer Blast.
Also a FIRST will happen on June 28th at SUMMER BLAST. It will mark the first time “The Perfect ten” Baby Doll will come face to face with someone she seems to be jealous of nowadays, Tammy “SUNNY” Sytch. With the recent resurgence of Sunny, Baby Doll has become quite upset with all the attention Sunny has been getting from all over the wrestling scene and wants to confront her face to face at Summer Blast. The promoters of South Atlantic Wrestling got together and got this deal signed and for the first time ever they will come face to face to discuss their problems with one another. Sunny is still gaining more and more popularity on her way back up to the top as Baby Doll is looking for new ways to reinvent herself. She has been looking for a new protégé to manage in the mid atlantic area. Will she reveal him on June 28th? Sunny has her sights set on a new tag team that is rapidly growing in the mid atlantic area called “The Set” (Lance Lude and J Synn). She wants to lead them to tag team gold here and with her track record of leading tag teams to championships, she should have no problem doing so with these 2 talented individuals. Will Baby Doll have a team to uphold her against these 2 due to the jealousy she has towards Sunny? Word has it recently she was scouting the team of Totally Awesome (who were managed by Neil Sharkey) in Derby City Wrestling and met with them privately as they have a score to settle with The Set going back to their war in Richmond Lucha Libre. This is going to be very interesting with it being their first ever meeting so please make sure to come check this one out on June 28th in Louisa.
Plans have it that South Atlantic Television Champion “Vindicator” Mike Vaughn was planning on retiring the T.V title as well as himself at Summer Blast. Well word has come down from the offices of SAW Commissioner Les Thatcher that he is sending a representative from the office down to confront Mike Vaughn on this ordeal. What does he have in store for Mike Vaughn? Is it a big retirement party? Or will he make Vaughn defend the title one more time before he retires on June 28th? Vaughn has been the champion for over a year and only defended the belt a few times and barely got by on all those matches. Will someone from his past show up to confront him and get a title shot? The list of those go from people like his former tag team partner “The King of Controversy” Robert Royal, Ace Montana, CWF Mid Atlantic Television Champion “High Definition” Steve Greene, “The Boogie Woogie Man” Rob McBride, and the list goes on and on. This is going to be heck of a night for everyone in this ordeal. Vaughn also has former associates that may want a title shot like his partner as of late “Chris Dramin, the up and coming hated Jefferson Early, the hot rookie Eddie Diamond, and more.
Plus the locals of Louisa make their return as the popular duo of the New Urban Militia (“Dangerous” Danny Waylon and Justis Duvall), the most craziest and unruly character “The King of Controversy” Robert Royal, as well as the most popular guy in Louisa 450 lbs. Fatty McNasty make their way back home to be part of this historical event. Mr. Big Stuff returns home to be honored in the town where he first began his pro wrestling career. Unfortunately for Mr. Big Stuff, his career had been cut short from a automobile accident back in 2001. He has still been promoting events on a semi regular basis but took a break after getting married and the untimely passing of his mother who was dear to all of us in Beverly Woody. We are glad to honor him here at South Atlantic Wrestling as it was them who got us started in the wrestling business and it has been one great ride ever since. What do they have in store for their return to Louisa? It will be interesting as it is their town and they are looking to make a good impression on their peoples being back in town for the night. Recently we heard that Spencer Chesnutt is looking to confront the local fans of Louisa with his own brand of mayhem which does not sit well with the locals in Royal, New Urban Militia, and Fatty McNasty. We are sure something will come to a head on June 28th so be there as I am sure it will be a night no one will ever forget.
NWA Legend “The Raging Bull” Manny Fernandez recently turned his back on the fans as he once again wants to be the top dog in the Mid Atlantic area. He has set his sights on the most popular wrestler in the region out of Chesapeake, VA in 2008 BUNKHOUSE STAMPEDE Champion Q Sic. This feud has the making of being a classic rivalry as Q Sic has the comparison to a modern day Magnum T.A and Manny Fernandez has always played by his owns rules and wants to be the main man again, a spot Q Sic is standing in the way of. I am sure it will be a battle from tooth to nail as these 2 want to keep their legacy alive. It is no holds barred here for this deal and every fan in attendance will be rocking the Betty Queen Center when these 2 lock horns for the first time. “The Raging Bull” still holds a grudge over Q Sic eliminating him to win the “BUNKHOUSE STAMPEDE” back in March so he is out for blood. He wants to prove he is the toughest man out there today and not Q Sic. Q Sic holds a high honor in being the “Bull of The Woods” now. Be there on June 28th to see how this one unfolds.
All this plus more as the mysterious but popular Grail takes on Diego DeLerosa in what will be a highly paced wrestling match. It is hard to say which way this match will go but it is sure to be a great wrestling clinic. Plus the son of “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton, Dylan Eaton makes his debut for South Atlantic Wrestling as he takes on “Platinum Icon” Phil Brown, who is the current Ground Xero Heavyweight Champion. The GX Champion has the upper hand going into this match but Dylan Eaton has been proving himself a lot lately in the independents and is ready and willing to make his mark known in wrestling.
To open up the festivities for the evening will be a performance by local band and upcoming sensation “GRINDIN’ GEARS” as they will rock the house from 6 to 7 P.M to warm up the great fans for an action packed night of pro wrestling. The band is eager to make an appearance in their hometown to perform and they will do so on June 28th. We encourage everyone to come out and support this band as they are bound to big star bound here very soon. We are glad to have them be part of this huge event as it is shaping up to be the biggest event in Louisa ever.
The most talked about event of the year in the mid atlantics region is almost here and what an event it is going to be. The most talked about deal on this event is almost everything that is going to happen that night. From the legends to the up and comers, it is going to be one great night of pro wrestling and it is going to happen right here in Louisa as it is a hot bed for professional wrestling.
