Great Championship Wrestling results from June 12 at the GR8 SK8 Plex in Phenix City, AL, with a reported attendance of 275: J-Rod pinned Shaun Banks (with Cru Jones). Murder One (with Wicked Nemesis) pinned Scotty Beach. GCW Interstate Champion Cru Jones pinned "That 80's Guy" John Bogie. Orion Bishop (with Wicked Nemesis) pinned Tex Monroe. Bull Buchanan & Micah Taylor beat GCW Heavyweight Champion Johnny Swinger & Zero Tolerance (with Quentin Michaels & Tracy Taylor). David Young battled Sonny Siaki to a no contest in a "No Disqualification" match when both men put each other through a table at ringside. Tracy Taylor's contract was once again on the line during the tag team match, when Micah forced Quentin Michaels to agree, Michaels told him if he beat Swinger that Micah would win back Tracy. Since Buchanan pinned Zero Tolerance in the tag team match, Michaels used the loophole to keep Tracy the property of Johnny Swinger. Shaun Banks' birthday was celebrated, Cru & Quentin brought out a cake for him, but fought over it until they accidentally got Banks in the face with it. Taylor McKnight interviewed Randall Johnson about joining Princeton Gainey III. Gainey brought out a boatload of gifts but Johnson said he'd think about it. McKnight handled the ring announcing for the night, because Quentin Michaels forced Rob Russo to referee. P.O.W.E.R. sent this in:
On June 28th, wrestling fans will pack into Lima's UAW Hall to witness "Free For All" and the ensuing battle between GWA and WAR Wrestling. The 800 free tickets that were given away at Rigali's Pizza Village and sent to out of town and even out of state wrestling fans are all gone and now the only way to witness this historic event is to get your tickets for just $10 at the door.
The main event for "Free For All" has been signed and the Global Wrestling Alliance team of Sherman Tank, Brandon Blaze, and Hardcore Craig will be wrestling in a 3 on 2 handicap match against WAR Wrestling's "Bad Attitude" Brian Beech and "Metal Head" Steve Stone. Brian Beech and Steve Stone have been waiting to get their hands on the GWA, and have agreed to this 3 on 2 match in an effort to get some revenge on three of Dusty Dillinger's top troops. Will Brian Beech and Steve Stone be able to overcome the overwhelming odds, or will the GWA representatives prove too much for WAR Wrestling?
Speaking of Dusty Dillinger, his crazed reign as the self proclaimed "Fan's World Champion" continues. After being distracted by The Postmaster and suffering a loss to Andrew "Test" Martin at the May 5th event, Dusty Dillinger is looking for revenge. After some heated words between Dusty Dillinger and The Postmaster, Dusty Dillinger has challenged Stamp Lickage to a one on one match at "Free For All". Dusty Dillinger says that The Postmaster must be taught a lesson. Will Dusty Dillinger exact his revenge on The Postmaster and WAR Wrestling, or will he go home signed, sealed, and delivered courtesy of The Postmaster and Stamp Lickage?
Another man on Dusty's bad side lately is Matt Mason. After entrusting Mason with being Dusty's partner and representing the GWA, Matt Mason has come up short on more than one occasion. Matt Mason has the opportunity to turn that around as he will be going one on one with returning superstar Tyler "Gutter" Hollister. This is Mason's opportunity to show Dusty that he is a force to be reckoned with and a top member of the GWA roster. Will "The Hot Commodity" finally be able to pick up a victory and prove his greatness, or will Tyler "Gutter" Hollister blaze back onto the Lima wrestling scene and get the best of Mason?
"The King of Lima" Danny Daniels will also be returning the Lima wrestling scene as he represents the GWA to take on WAR Wrestling star and Michigan Invasion member N8 Mattson with Truth Martini in his corner. Will "The King of Lima" be able to come back and lead GWA to another victory, or will N8 Mattson be able to pull out a victory for WAR Wrestling?
The Old School Empire will be on hand as Mr. Main Event and Mr. Old School will be taking on the rookie team of Ben Brody and Mike Dodge. As Mr. Main Event's rookie killing spree continues, the rookies have an opportunity to stop him in his tracks and prove their worth as viable wrestlers on the roster. Will Ben Brody and Mike Dodge be able to pull out a win over The Old School Empire, or does The Old School Empire have something up their sleeves?
Plus: "The Jihad" Ala Hussein will be going one on one with Ganger, the stars of the no limits division will be competing in a tag team match, Jon Moxley will be facing Robby Starr, and Cody Hawk, Hailey Hatred, and many many more will be on hand for this blowout event. What new developments will go down in the GWA Vs. WAR feud? How will The Postmaster respond to Dusty Dillinger's actions? What other surprises are in store?
All the questions will be answered on Saturday Night, June 28th in Lima, Ohio at the UAW Hall at 1440 Bellefontaine Ave. with doors opening at 6:30pm and bell time being 7:30pm. The only way to get in is to have a ticket, or purchase one at the door for $10.
We look forward to having a great event, and want to thank the fans for all of their support.

WRESTLING OBSERVER & FIGURE FOUR MERGE
----------------------------------------------------------
Earlier this week, it was announced that Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Observer and Bryan Alvarez's Figure Four Weekly web sites have merged into one. Memberships to the site are available at a cost of $9.95 per month, which entitles you to the full issues of both the Observer and F4W to be read online, plus tons of daily audio shows, a back issue archive, and more. Steven Ashe sent these reports in:
Great Canadian Wrestling RANDOM ACTS OF VIOLENCE
June 13
Royal Canadsian Legion
Oshawa, Ontario
GCW held its annual Random Acts of Violence show . The atmosphere was literally electric as GCW put on just under 3 hours of wrestling entertainment!
In the opening contest, GCW Canadian Heavyweight Champion Otis Idol defeated The American Eagle
GCW W.I.L.D. Champion Danyah defeated Hayley Rogers with her new manager "The Sport" Jessy Jones
Jake O'Reilly defeated "Tricked Out" Tyler Tirva with P.J. Tyler
R.J. City came to the ring and read a letter from former GCW Tag Team Champion Asylum, until he was confronted by Rico Montana and powerbombed for his trouble.. which led to..
Rico Montana defeated Josh Alexander.
Crazzy Steve and Steve Brown (w/Jamie Virtue) went to a no contest after Steve Brown splashed Crazzy Steve through a table from the ring apron and left Crazzy Steve a bloody mess.
GCW Ontario Independent Champion Brad Martin defeated Xtremo.
After the match Xtremo took out his frustrations on GCW referee Sean Cassidy, until Crazyhorse Michael Elgin made his return to GCW to send Xtremo to the back.
The House Of Virtue, Sebastian Suave and Andrew Davis defeated Cody Deaner and Hayden Avery in a wild match to become the NEW GCW Tag Team Champions. The bout went all over the legion, they used tables, chairs, garbage cans, anything that wasn't nailed down. However after an official was knocked unconscious by Andrew Davis, and interference from Jamie Virtue leading to a low blow.. another official came from the backstage area and with a fast-count we had new GCW Tag Champions!
The crowd was livid! They demanded "Five more minutes or we riot!" The House of Virtue reappeared from backstage and denied their wish, so the former champions dragged Suave and Davis from backstage and gave them what was coming to them and the crowd went home happy after another exciting night of GCW action!!
Don't forget to catch GCW BEYOND THE LIMIT - July 18th, 2008 in OSHAWA!!
