United States Wrestling Organization/ATL results from Nashville, TN, at the Stadium Inn, with 40 in attendance according to the always truthful Jimmie Daniel: Dyronic beat Intern. Shawn Hoodrich beat Bizzarre-O. LT Falk beat Convict. Post match, Gordon tells LT that Charming Charles has sent someone to deal with LT later on tonight. Derrick "Boy" Neal versus Richard Lowe went to a double countout as they brawled outside the ring. Lee Cross (w/Chris Norte) beat White Tiger. LT Falk beat Pandora Boxx by DQ when Convict interfered (Pandora is a British lady wrestler who has been in this area on occasion). Michael Jablonski & Chris Norte (with Lee Cross) beat Damien Payne & New York Gangster to retain the ATL Tag Team Championship (evidently Freebird rules were in effect here, as Cross even got in and wrestled during the match. Payne pinned Cross to apparently win the titles, but Jablonski pointed out that only himself and Norte were on the contract to defend the titles. The match was restarted, and as Gangster and Payne argues with referee Mark Owen, Jablonski rolls up Gangster to get the win).

Pat Tanaka beat Tim Renesto by DQ when Renesto hit Tanaka with a chair. Shane Smalls beat Justin Spade. New York Gangster beat Jason James. LT Falk & Damien Payne versus Quinton Quarisma & JC Crowe ended in a double pin (Quarisma pinned Payne as Falk pinned Crowe) which resulted in the USWO Tag Team Championship being held up. TJ Harley versus Andy Douglas ended in a no-contest when Tim Renesto ran out and attacked both. It was earlier noted that USWO Champion Mark Anthony was absent tonight, thus he will defend against both in a 3-way next Friday. 75 flocked to the Stadium Inn tonight. Our ref for the evening was Mark Owen. (Larry Goodman, courtesy of Jimmie Daniel)

The Road to Wrestlelution

On Sunday, August 3, Pro Wrestling Ohio presents its largest show in history, as we migrate to Cleveland’s Plain Dealer Pavilion for Wrestlelution. This week on PWO TV, Wrestlelution begins to take shape in several major ways, with news and announcements surrounding the events of this sure-to-be-historic happening. Watch the drama unfold and also join PWO Commentator Joe Dombrowski in the Wrestlelution Control Center for all the latest up-to-date ticket and card information!

Johnny Gargano vs. Marion Fontaine

Johnny Gargano is back to his cocky, obnoxious, overbearing, and egotistical self following the violent elimination of rival Gregory Iron, and the self-proclaimed future of Cleveland wrestling is focusing on rebuilding a win-loss record that was damaged numerous times thanks to his prior rival. This week, Gargano collides with “Megastar” Marion Fontaine, who himself has been dealt a cruel hand thanks to several shocking and downright disturbing encounters with “DeeeLicious” Jimmy DeMarco. Will Gargano’s regained ego grow again? Will the ban on Jimmy DeMarco work this time or will the Prime Minster of Perversion have another plan?

Vincent Nothing’s Open Challenge

Critics are raving about PWO’s first ever ladder match, which aired on our last broadcast. “Bloody” Morty Rackem & Matthew Justice pushed themselves and their opponents, Virus & Virus Grande, to the limit, in one of the most emotional and dangerous matches in quite some time, which ended with Rackem reclaiming his prized swords and holding them high above in celebration along with his newfound tag partner. However, one man has been very vocal about that ladder match… Vincent Nothing, no stranger to ladder matches in his own right. Nothing has requested time to make a statement regarding this match, but rumor has it an old rival has taken issue with some of Nothing’s recent comments, and he may make his presence known this week as well!

Jason Bane vs. Mike Tolar

Mike Tolar has experienced a slow but dramatic attitude change in recent times. After not receiving what he felt was a reaction worthy of someone of his caliber, Tolar has begun lashing out at fans and other wrestlers alike for not treating him with the hero’s welcome he feels he deserves. The amateur champion and collegiate sports star will need every bit of athleticism at his disposal when facing the 6’8 300+ pound Jason Bane. Bane has been irate over Aaron Maguire delaying an impending match between Bane and Cronus, citing irreconcilable money issues. Will Bane take his frustrations out on Mike Tolar or can the natural athlete find a way to overcome the monster?

Ashley Lane vs. Hobo Joe

It’s intergender action for the first time in PWO history. Ashley Lane, formerly known on PWO television as Lexi Lane, makes her return after a several-month sabbatical and has already issued an open challenge. While her relationship with one-time charges Josh Prohibiton & Johnny Gargano has been rumored to be on the rocks, Lane seems content on making her presence known regardless. Can Lane win out in this battle of Beauty and the Beast? Or can PWO’s cult hero Hobo Joe score his first victory?

All this plus much more!

Remember, Pro Wrestling Ohio is only available on Sports Time Ohio! If Sports Time Ohio is NOT part of your DirecTV or Dish Network package, no matter where in the U.S. you are, call your satellite provider today and demand STO! Check local listings or www.sportstimeohio.com for times!

PWO WRESTLELUTION IS COMING!

In October of 2007, a new age began in Ohio professional wrestling. With the platform of national television at their doorstep, a roster of young, hungry, and capable athletes set out on a course to prove themselves. A course to begin carving their legacy, forging their reputations, and solidifying their abilities.

Through the next eight months, great sacrifices were made. Blood was shed, bodies were hurt, wills were damaged but did not break. All with the goal to reach the pinnacle of their profession, the height of their careers, and inch their way closer to the next level. On August 3, they will arrive.

Sunday afternoon, August 3 at the Plain Dealer Pavilion in Cleveland, Ohio, the best athletes in the region converge for PWO’s ultimate proving ground. Nearly one year of hostility, resentment, aggression, and hatred will be unleashed. It is a night of closure. A night of finality. A night for the most vital questions to be addressed and answered. Who is the Most Dominant Man in PWO? Who are the true kings of Cleveland Ladder Matches? Who has the drive to stand up to one of wrestling’s most heralded legends and survive? And who will achieve the ultimate prize of being called the first-ever PWO Champion?

August 3, the bad blood and ill-will reaches its culmination. The hatred and contempt can be contained no more. For these great athletes, it is time to not only rise to the next level, but surpass it. Some will stand triumphant, some will fall, some will achieve their dreams, carve their legacy, forge their reputations, and solidify their abilities for years to come, but all will meet their Wrestlelution.
