CHIKARA returns to South Philly on Sunday, July 13th!
In the last month or so, we've presented a total of 7 live events - from "Café Culture" to the finals of Young Lions Cup VI - but the month of July will see us change gears quite a bit. We're offering up just one giant, star-studded card, on Sunday afternoon, July 13th, at our homebase of the New Alhambra in Philadelphia. This one will be a card on par with our very finest stand-alone events, and every loyal member of the CHIKARMY will want to be on hand when "Tragedy and Triumph" plays in South Philly!
Among these is the long-anticipated rematch between the two largest men on our roster - Brodie Lee and Claudio Castagnoli. Their two previous bouts have ended in disqualifications, and for that reason, our Director of Fun Leonard F. Chikarason has stipulated that the bout will have No Disqualification, but will have 2 officials assigned should the action get out of control.
