WWE Trainer Dr. Tom Prichard Returns to IWF Pro Wrestling School:
3-Day Clinic, Seminar & Tryout August 22-23-24 @ West Paterson, NJ

(WEST PATERSON, NJ)- Independent Wrestling Federation is pleased to announce that WWE Developmental Trainer Dr. Tom Prichard returns to conduct his 7th Annual Pro Wrestling Clinic, Seminar and Tryout at IWF Wrestling School, 32 Willow Way, West Paterson, NJ.

Prichard, head trainer at WWE's Florida Championship Wrestling Developmental Program, is a former WWE Tag Team Champion with The Heavenly Bodies and The Bodydonnas. Tom hosts the three-day clinic on Friday, August 22 from 6 to 10 pm, Saturday, August 23 from 12 to 5 pm, and Sunday, August 24 from 12 to 4 pm. Clinic includes seminar, ring drills, basics and fundamentals, promos and interviews, referee and manager skills.

This is a must for all wrestlers and students to have an opportunity to get scouted and coached by Prichard in this three-day clinic. This marks the seventh clinic Tom will host at IWF Wrestling School since 2002.

Clinic is open to all IWF students and active graduates with a $79 fee; and independent wrestlers, managers and referees with at least one-year of training experience with a $179 fee. Pre-registration is required. Limited to 40 participants and deadline is August 10. Clinic not open to fans or the public. For registration information call 973-345-7745 or visit www.WrestlingIWF.com.

Established in 1999, IWF Wrestling School trains hundreds of wrestlers and managers from 16 states and six countries that perform in bouts around the globe. IWF Commissioner Rich Ross recently joined the management team at USA Network & NBC Universal, partnering with WWE supervising Raw and ECW programming. Former WWE Diva Dawn Marie trained at IWF and had her first-ever match with us in 2001. Former IWF Tag Team Champion Marc Verow works for the UFC Event Production Staff. IWF graduates make frequent appearances on Raw, SmackDown and Heat. So far, 17 home-grown IWF talents made WWE appearances.

IWF Wrestling School hosts periodic Clinics with current stars and legendary performers. In addition to Prichard, WWE Superstar John Bradshaw Layfield, WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana, former WWE Intercontinental Champion Honky Tonk Man, WWE's Steven Richards, WWE's Nunzio, WWE legend Ricky Steamboat, former UFC and WWE Champion Ken Shamrock, former WWE Diva Dawn Marie, former WWE star Tom Brandi (Sal Sincere), former ECW Champion Steve Corino, and TNA's Simon Diamond have hosted clinics.

Earlier this year on April 30, MamaJuana Energy and 418 Energy presented a Pro Wrestling Seminar with John Layfield, current Raw Superstar and former WWE Heavyweight Champion. Mr. Layfield's lecture to nearly 50 IWF students and graduates touched on all aspects of this business, from in-ring basics and fundamental skills, to developing an interesting and memorable persona.

On April 16 and 17, WWE Legend Honky Tonk Man, the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all-time, returned as guest instructor at IWF Pro Wrestling School. Honky Tonk Man conducted a two-day Pro Wrestling Clinic that covered everything from in-ring training and practice ethic, to basic mat skills, to character development.

Independent Wrestling Federation produces family-friendly live events and hosts children’s Birthday Parties. IWF Pro Wrestling School, recognized as the premiere training facility in the Northeast by countless media outlets, hosts Open House Tours every Saturday and Sunday afternoon and Tuesday and Wednesday evening.

CHIKARA: Tim Donst wants revenge at July 13th's "Tragedy & Triumph!"

A monumental card will rock the CHIKARA calendar in just under two weeks! We're offering up just one giant, star-studded card, on Sunday afternoon, July 13th, at our homebase of the New Alhambra in Philadelphia. This one will be a card on par with our very finest stand-alone events, and every loyal member of the CHIKARMY will want to be on hand when "Tragedy and Triumph" plays in South Philly!
On that night, UltraMantis Black will have his hands full as he meets All-American hero, and apparent double-agent Tim Donst! Back at "Deuces Wild," UltraMantis dropped Donst on his noggin, and then tried to convince the concussed rookie that he was a member of his Neo Solar Temple. Well, Mantis' plan worked a little too well - and now that Donst has dropped his amnesiac act and apparently left the Order behind him and returned to the tecnicos, he wants to deliver a little payback to his tormentor!
Plus, Eddie Kingston will have a chance to avenge his loss in the main event of our biggest show ever - King of Trios, Night 3 - where he was tapped out by Lince Dorado. CHIKARA's most brutal wrestler will take on the high-flying Latino prodigy in their very first one-on-one match!
In addition to which, the Young Lions Cup, won by Fire Ant in an emotional tournament final back on June 15th, will find himself rematched with Vin Gerard. Since losing the tournament final, Gerard has been lobbying for another stab at Fire Ant, and to silence him, Director of Fun Leonard F. Chikarason has signed this bout. If the match is even half as intense as their last meeting in Hellertown, we'll be in for a charged evening at the New Alhambra!
Take a look at the almost-completed card:

~Main Event: For the Campeonatos de Parejas!~
Incoherence (campeones) vs. The Fabulous Two (retadores)

~Young Lions Cup on the Line!~
Fire Ant defends against Vin Gerard

~Nowhere to Run, Nowhere to Hide!~
Mike Quackenbush vs. Shane Storm

~First Singles Confrontation!~
Lince Dorado vs. Eddie Kingston

~Who is Rey de "Rey de Voladores"?~
Incognito (2008 RdV winner) vs. Chuck Taylor (2007 RdV winner)

~First Time Ever!~
Jimmy Olsen vs. Ultimo Breakfast (the re-invented Create-A-Wrestler)

~On the Road to Payback!~
Tim Donst vs. UltraMantis Black

~No Disqualification, to be Overseen by 2 Referees~
Claudio Castagnoli vs. Brodie Lee

The Smart Mark Video site is once again accepting orders. Head over there to pick up our 4 May events on DVD right now! The 3 nights of Young Lions Cup VI will be released any day now!
Advance tickets for our next 3 live events (including our one-night-only return to Reading) are on sale right now! Visit our online store and pick up your copy of the second issue of the CHIKARA comic book (Season 7, Volume 2)!
