During a recent interview with ESPN, Kurt Angle claimed that at the highest point of his drug addictions he was taking around 12 to 16 painkillers every three hours. Angle claims he quit cold turkey in 2005 and hasn't taken any painkillers since. The interview mentioned Angle tried to strike a deal with NBC to do the wrestling commentary at the Olympics, but NBC went with Rulon Gardner instead.

Hector Guerrero reportedly acted as the "middle man" in forming the relationship between CMLL and TNA for the current World X Cup tournament. There is hope a long-term deal can be worked out between both companies as TNA is sending talent to the July 25 Arena Mexico event. TNA is said to be interested in getting Mistico and Perro Aguayo Jr. from CMLL.

The release of Rellik (aka Johnny Stamboli) from TNA was due to creative having nothing for him. He was said to be helping to train Joel Anderson from Survivor at one point, but that fell apart as Anderson wanted much more money than TNA was willing to offer. Jonny Fairplay reportedly got the blame for blowing up Anderson's head and encouraging him to ask for a figure TNA obviously wasn't going to come close to.
