Commissioner Chris Dalton apologized on behalf of the UWA for what happened last week at the end of "No Return." Dalton said he had heard five different stories about what was said, so he wasn't sure exactly what happened. Dalton called out Chase Stevens, who swerved the fans by acting remorseful about his actions last week, and then said he wasn't sorry about a damn thing and the fans deserved it. He recalled how the fans waited half the night and followed him out to his car. He said he should beat all those people up. David Young came out and apologized for Chase Stevens being a jackass. He called Chase an ignorant lowlife for saying what he said last week. SHANE SHAMROCK MEMORIAL CUP VIII FULL RESULTS

DEREK FRAZIER: THE COMEBACK KID

Frazier returns & wins the Cup

This past Saturday night, Derek Frazier returned to Maryland Championship Wrestling after suffering a torn ACL back at MCW Holiday Homecoming (December 2007). Back then, doctors told Frazier not to expect a full recovery for a full year, at least. But, Frazier went through an intense rehab, and made a surprise return during the Last Chance Scramble for the final slot in the Shamrock Cup Finale this past Saturday night.

Frazier would defeat Pelle Primeau, Devon Moore, & Ruckus to advance to the finale. There, he would survive the 6-man Elimination Finale, defeating Rhett Titus, Claudio Castagnoli, Crowbar, Joey Matthews, & Josh Daniels to win the 8th Annual event.

"I have worked so hard for this!" said Frazier, backstage after winning the Cup. "Nobody thought that I could come back, this early, and at 100%. But I did, and I won! I respect all of the guys that competed in the Cup. And I think that we gave the fans the best Shamrock Finale ever. I'm just glad I survived. Now, the comeback is complete."
