According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, when James Mitchell was released from the company last month he was simply told creative had no place for his character at the moment. Mitchell stated recently in an interview with ProWrestling.net that TNA President Dixie Carter called him personally twice after his release and was said to be very complimentary to his work with TNA. He has mentioned he would like to return if the opportunity was there.

A video preview for the new TNA "Best of the Bloodiest Brawls: Scars and Stitches" DVD is up at this link. Looks like one of the better TNA releases in quite some time.

The latest edition of the TNA Spin Cycle for July 24 is at this link featuring Matt Morgan, Don West, Karen Angle and the NFL's James Farrior.
