Georgiann Makropoulos reported last night that Walter ‘Killer’ Kowalski, who we noted recently had been moved to a nursing home, had suffered a heart attack. Kowalski’s wife Teresa called Bruno Sammartino with the news, and told him doctors did not expect Kowalski to make it through the night. As of this writing, we have not received word on his condition.
World Wrestling Entertainment’s RAW crew will be at the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark, DE, tonight. The SmackDown/ECW crew will be at the War Memorial in Syracuse, NY.
WWE results from the Wildwoods Convention Center in Wildwood, NJ, on August 8: Kane over Matt Striker; Johnny Curtis over Charlie Haas; D-Lo Brown over Snitsky; Kofi Kingston over Santino Marella; William Regal over Jamie Noble; Mickie James over Katie Lea; John Cena & Cryme Tyme over Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase, Jr.; and CM Punk over JBL in a no disqualification match.
It was announced on Friday that WWE has been served with a lawsuit, apparently being spearheaded by Raven, noted by his real name Scott Levy. It was noted the summons had been served on July 24. Levy and other wrestlers, who were not identified, are challenging WWE’s assertion that the talent are independent contractors and not employees, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment. The term 'independent contractor' as it pertains to wrestlers has long been questioned, but never truly challenged. Although the company has yet to formally respond, they denied the charges and intend to "defend vigorously the suit".

A September 7 benefit show has been put together for Southeastern wrestler John Malus who was attacked and stabbed on July 22nd also in Columbia. Malus, who has wrestled for Georgia-Carolina companies ASW, FCW,OSCW, TWF, and WKCW, was released a few days later and appeared at the July 26 FCW Rage Show where he received a standing ovation from a cleared out locker room. Wrestlers already scheduled to wrestle at the show, which will be presented at Element Nightlife, include Josh Magnum, Johnny Blaze, Sixx, Malachi, Brandon Paradise, Solitude, Tank Lewis, and Cali Casanova. More wrestlers are set to be announced over the next few weeks. The event begins at 6PM.

West-Texas Wrestling Association just got finished with a huge show, and we are still in shock and awe!
Rick Elsey opened the show, letting us know that tonight, WWA Champion Chad Thomas will defend the title against Dameon Blood, and that after last week's actions, Tony Morales would face Mark Wilson in a special Grudge match. He then said that tonight, there would be some familiar faces and some not-so familiar faces in the WWA WareHouse for one reason, and he introduced the special guest for the night: Florida Championship Wrestling's Head Trainer and World Wrestling Entertainment's Head Develpomental Trainer Dr. Tom Prichard!!! Prichard said he was glad to be in West-Texa, home of some great legends, like The Dibiases and The Romeros! He even said that he met up with third generation superstar "Radical" Ricky Romero III in the back, and couldn't wait to see the young faces in the back in action tonight. So, without further ado, let's get the show under way!!!
Match 1
Joe "The Show" Pease, Vash Hartley, and Unified Texas Champion "High Profile" Preston James VS Randy Terrez, JT Smooth, and Brian Blade (Referee: Maniac Mike)
This match was a very high-flying match by almost everyone! Lots of back and forth action. The finish saw Preston James get a surprise Bread and Butter on Terrez.
Winners: Preston James, Vash Hartley, and Joe Pease
After the match, Blade blamed both Smooth and Terrez for the loss, and threw them out of the ring! Blade stood tall in the ring, as Terrez and Smooth made their way to the back.
"Hurricane" Gloria Shockley came out to address the fans. She said everyone is busting their asses every week, but for almost 10 weeks, she has had to sit on the sidelines. She called Rick back to the ring, because she wanted some action. Rick reminded her that she had a match in September with Diamond Icee. Gloria said she knew that, but she wanted some action in the ring tonight. Rick said he would try for something after intermission, but he wasn't going to make any promises. Suddenly, Tony Morales came out and got in Gloria's face. He give her a stiff right, laying her out. Rick pulled him back, only to get a forearm for himself. Security, along with Rocky Jimenez, got into the ring. Security pulled Tony away from Gloria, while Rocky and a recovering Rick checked on Gloria. Rick made sure security got Morales to the back, and then had them help Gloria as well. Rick added, "Gloria, meet me in my office this week, and lets see what we can do!"

Dillon Stone VS Shane Willis VS "Radical" Ricky Romero III
(Referee: "Kung-Fu" Jimmy Pope)
This match was more like Ricky and Shane double teaming Dillon. Alot of the match saw Ricky hit a power move, then Shane hit a high-impact move. But, when Ricky got on the offensive against Shane, Shane made sure Ricky regretted it. The finish saw Ricky hit Shane with a huge Frog Splash on Shane from the top turnbuckle!
Winner: Ricky Romero III
(The win was controversial, that is why this will be a WWA Spotlight match. We will update you when we get this match on YouTube!)

NON-TITLE MATCH
ROW and WWA Tag Team Champions La Migra (El Gringo Loco and El Grande) VS Enemy and "The East-Side Beast" Benny Benitez
(Referee: Rocky Jimenez)
The match started off with Enemy and Benitez showing that they could be a great tag team, even though Enemy is partners with Raul Torrez. The turn happened when Grande made his way to the ring to save a helpless Gringo from Enemy. The finish saw Benny hit Gringo with a Gore, followed by a cheap Spinebuster from Grande on Benny!
Winners: La Migra
After the match, Chris "Youngblood" Romero came out to address the fans. He said that WWA and ROW (Renegade Outlaw Wrestling) superstars would be sharing rosters starting in September, and they would be holding shows every Sunday in Lubbock, Tx. LOBO the Clown made his way to the ring, getting into the head of Chris. But LOBO didn't want to cause trouble... HE WANTS TO DANCE!!! A little impromptu dance party led us into the intermission!

WWA CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
"The Old School Athlete" Chad Thomas (C) w/ Tony Estep VS "The Dark Prince" Dameon Blood
(Referee: "Kung-Fu" Jimmy Pope)
There was an creepy vibe going into this match. Everyone knew Dameon had one good eye, but he was ready for this match. Chad took quick control of this match, making sure Estep could either distract the referee, distract Dameon, or even trip Dameon. But, Dameon kept getting his fuego, making sure he was on his toes! Dameon looked for the Chokeslam after a
devastating Piledriver, but the lights went out, and when they came back on, both men were knocked out, with Chad's arm over Dameon's chest! What was Jimmy Pope to do???
Winner and STILL WWA Champion: Chad Thomas
There was a orange bandanna laying on the edge of the mat. The only man to wear orange in WWA is Mosh Pit Mike, but no one saw him in the back. Could it be that Mike made a surprise attack that not even Rick Elsey could see?
*MAIN EVENT*
NON-TITLE MATCH
WWA Ultimate Massacre Champion "The Homicidal Half-Breed" Tony Morales VS "The Natural" Mark Wilson
Months of aggression and turmoil have led these two to this match. Tony made very quick work of Mark Wilson, attacking the neck that he injured last week. When Mark got his shine, it was lost very quickly due top very cheap shots. Wilson would hit the occasional Dropsault, Shining Wizard, and Flying Clotheslines, but nothing seemed to work. Tony then hit Mark with the Rolling Powerbomb (yes, a Canadian Destroyer, but Tony's Puerto Rican), making it seem like the end was near. But, out of pure instinct, Mark played a little leapfrog from off the top rope and reversed what looked like an Alabama Slam into his own Rolling Powerbomb!
Winner: Mark Wilson
Rick Elsey then came out, telling Mark Wilson that next week, he had a one-on-one match with Chad Thomas for the belt, and that Monday, Tony would still have to defend the Ultimate Massacre Championship in a Three Stages of Hell, facing three different superstars in hardcore matches!
Funny note: Tony Morales laid in the ring 10 minutes after the show before security took him out on the stretcher.
NEXT WWA EVENT: Monday Night Massacre from the WWA WareHoue at 200 N. Lincoln in Amarillo, Tx!

1. Aerial Assault Match: Ryan McBride defeated LJ Cruz and Drew Blood. 2. Joe Gacy and Alex Colon defeated Jagged and Shane Matthews.
3. The Necro Butcher and Nicky Benz defeated Danny Havoc and Nate Hatred when Benz pinned Havoc with a roll-up.
4. Sami Callihan defeated Jon Dahmer and WHACKS via submission.
5. CZW World Tag Team Title Match: Andy Sumner and Drew Gulak defeated Scotty Vortekz and Dustin Lee, Cheech and Cloudy & Beef Wellington and Greg Excellent to retain the CZW World Tag Team Titles.

6. CZW World Junior Heavyweight Title #1 Contenders Match: Pinkie Sanchez defeated Sabian.

Notes:
-The Aerial Assault match had that big box thing for the wrestlers to do moves off. It was said to have been a good match.
-Strippers from the Kashmir Gentlemen's Club, where tomorrow's show will be held, came out and threw out t-shirts to the crowd.
-The Necro tag sounded tremendous... Hatred destroyed The Hellaware Assassin with a chair and Dewey and Aronofsky got into a cat fight. The ending saw Havoc set up two chairs and Necro sit down for a Barfight. Benz came up from behind Havoc, rolled him (and the chair) up, Necro got on top and put his feet on the ropes for leverage and the tandem three count.
-The 3-way match included barbed wire boards.
-Before the Tag Title Match, Up In Smoke come out and say they deserve a title shot, which bring outs 2 Girls, 1 Cup who say they deserve a title shot. This leads to a 4-way match for the belts. The match itself was a crazy brawl with a ton of interference.
-Following the Junior Title Contenders Match, BLK OUT attacked Pinkie. -The Iron Man Title Match was said to be a good "CZW Style" brawl around the building.
-Following the CZW Title match, BLK OUT beat down Younger and Ruckus said that "nobody can fuck with BLK OUT." A video then played on the CZW-Tron showing that B-Boy returns to CZW next month at the Chri$ Ca$h Memorial Show.
-Drew Blood interfered and Moore won. After they attacked Gage until Dewey and Hatred made the save. Tomorrow is Hatred/Gage vs Blood/Devon
