Saul Stradlin sent this in:

This weekend Pro Wrestling Guerrilla ran the 7th installment of their signature All Star Weekend events. This installment was originally scheduled to be the 4th annual Battle Of Los Angeles, but because many of the wrestlers were unable to appear during the weekend, the event was postponed. As opposed to doing Match-By-Match thoughts, I'll be reporting quick notes with some thoughts thrown in.

Night 1(Around 375 in attendance according to SoCalUncensored.com):
-TJ Perkins/Hook Bomberry over Ash Riot/Mark Davis
-Jimmy Jacobs over Vin Gerard
-Rocky Romero over Alex Koslov
-Joey Ryan/Scott Lost over Phoenix Star/Zokre
-Roderick Strong over Tyler Black
-Chuck Taylor over Candice LeRae
-PAC/Matt Jackson/Nick Jackson over El Generico/Kevin Steen/Susumu Yokosuka
-Chris Hero over Low Ki/Eddie Kingston/Necro Butcher to retain the PWG World Title in a Fatal Four Way

Notes:
-Ash Riot, Mark Davis, Vin Gerard, and Chuck Taylor made their debuts in PWG this weekend. Riot and Davis looked very green and didn't win over the fans. Gerard got a small reception and a few people were familiar with his work in Chikara and even started an Equinox chant in reference to his old gimmick. Chuck Taylor got the biggest reaction of all the debuting stars and was easily the most recognized of the debuting wrestlers.
-Before the second match of the show, the sound system broke and the show continued on without music. Several of the wrestlers on the show ended up doing some improve for their entrances. Jimmy Jacobs came out singing an acapella version of "The Ballad Of Lacey." El Generico got on the house mic backstage and got the fans to chant "Ole" as his team made their way to the ring. Eddie Kingston listened to his theme song during his entrance on his Ipod, and Dino Winwood sang an acapella version of "Holding Out For A Hero" for Chris Hero's entrance.
-Roderick Strong vs. Tyler Black was a really good match, that was runner up for MOTN.
-MOTN honors went to the six man tag. The match was tremendous and the fans were heavily into the match. Lots of high flying from the Young Bucks and PAC, and Kevin Steen playing a major dickhead heel during the match. The Generico/PAC sequence during the opening of the match lasted less than a minute, but it was probably the most heated minute in PWG history. Everyone in this match was fantastic and put on a match that is around the ****1/2 range.
-After the main event, Chris Hero got on the mic and started to cut a promo, which resulted in a very heated brawl between him and Eddie Kingston. Having seen many of the matches between the two, this post-match scuffle seemed a lot more heated than their past encounters. During the scuffle, the microphone ended up being broken which forced Hero to cut his promo without it and by shouting. He put over Low Ki and Necro Butcher and said he wanted to prove he was the best in the world by defending the PWG World Title against the best wrestlers PWG can find.

Night 2(250-275 in attendance):
-Susumu Yokosuka over Alex Koslov
-El Generico over TJ Perkins
-Joey Ryan/Scott Lost over Chuck Taylor/Vin Gerard
-Kevin Steen over Roderick Strong
-Low Ki over Rocky Romero
-Necro Butcher over Eddie Kingston
-The Young Bucks (Nick/Matt Jackson) over The Age Of The Fall (Tyler Black/Jimmy Jacobs) to become the PWG World Tag Team Champions
-Chris Hero over PAC to retain the PWG World Title

Notes:
-PWG was able to get a new sound system for the event. Before the show started, Jon Ian poked fun at the sound problems that took place the night before and mentioned the WWE had the same problems.
-Night 2 was a better show than Night 1. The show flowed really well and the matches were a lot better.
-Low Ki/Rocky Romero was a really good match with some MMA stuff mixed in. Second best match of the night.
-After his match, Eddie Kingston took a moment to thank the fans for their support even after he missed two shows earlier in he year.
-The Young Bucks got a huge pop when they won the PWG World Tag Titles with the fans pounding on the apron as the Young Bucks celebrated.
-PAC/Hero was the best match of the weekend in my opinion. It built up really well, there were some really dramatic nearfalls that made the fans believe Chris Hero was going to lose the PWG World Title. The finish came when PAC went for a Twisting SSP from the top rope, but Chris Hero caught him in a Cravate and hit a series of moves on PAC to get the victory. I'd rank this in the ****1/2 range also, but would put this above the six man tag from Night 1 since it was built up really well.
-ECW's Lena Yada was in attendance on Night 2.
-CIMA was in attendance on both nights selling Dragon Gate merchandise and tickets to the Dragon Gate show on Friday in Los Angeles.

Overall Notes
Downsides:
-The sound system on Night 1. While PWG made the best of a bad situation, it still sucked that they had to deal with more problems involving this show.
-The unfunny drunken Hispanic contingent on one side of the venue. Probably the most annoying group of fans I've ever sat near at any wrestling show I've been to.

Upsides:
-As mentioned above, the PAC/Hero and the Trios matches were both the best matches of the weekend, with both being major MOTYC.
-Low Ki had a really good showing this weekend. It was great to see him make his return this weekend and the fans gave him a warm reception for his return.
-Chuck Taylor had to have been the breakout star of the weekend. He really shined in his debut match against Candice LeRae and was the highlight of the tag match he was involved in on Night 2.
-The crowd reactions for the Trios tag match, The Young Bucks title win, and the finish to Hero/PAC were great.

Top Five Matches Of The Weekend:
1. Chris Hero over PAC to retain the PWG World Title (Night 2)
2. The Young Bucks/PAC over El Generico/Kevin Steen/Susumu Yokosuka (Night 1)
3. Roderick Strong over Tyler Black (Night 1)
4. Low Ki over Rocky Romero (Night 2)
5. El Generico over TJ Perkins (Night 1)
