Jerry "The King" Lawler to Appear; GWA Vs. WAR to battle for Complete Control on October 4th.
GWA and WAR Wrestling have presented some of the biggest stars in professional wrestling, but never have they brought in WWE color commentator and wrestling legend Jerry "The King" Lawler.. Jerry "The King" Lawler will be live at the UAW Hall in Lima, Ohio on Saturday night October 4th. Lawler is expected to sign autographs and be available for pictures before the show and during intermission.
Word has it that “The King” is coming to Lima on his own terms, and is not affiliated with The Global Wrestling Alliance or W.A.R. Wrestling. What will Jerry Lawler have to say about the hostile environment surrounding WAR Wrestling and The GWA?
Plus: Dusty Dillinger laid down the challenge and The Postmaster accepted a "Best of 7" series featuring GWA and WAR stars for complete control of Lima's brand of professional wrestling. Stars of GWA and WAR will compete in a series of matches, and the first team to win 4 matches will gain complete control of the company. The Postmaster has said "The Past, Present, and Future" of WAR Wrestling will be on hand to take out the GWA and regain claim of the promotion that was once theirs.. But one can only assume that GWA Owner Dusty Dillinger has already formed plans to guarantee his success.
With this bitter rivalry brewing for months, which promotion will come out on top and have complete control of the company? What will it mean for the losers?
It all goes down in the biggest show of the year on Saturday night October 4 at the UAW Hall in Lima Ohio.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 or a 4 Pack Special for $30 at Rigali's Pizza Village. All tickets purchased at the door are $12.
Doors will open at 6:30p.m. and the action will begin at 7:30p.m. Don't forget to arrive early for your opportunity to meet and greet with wrestling legend Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Big Japan Wrestling comes to Pennsylvania in October!
Back in July, CHIKARA issued a challenge to a dozen promotions from around the world - and Big Japan Wrestling answered the call! On October 18th and 19th, both Easton and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania will get a taste of BJW action as the company's stars clash with CHIKARA's finest in a 2-day event unlike anything we've ever staged before!
Together, CHIKARA and Big Japan Wrestling will present the Global Gauntlet, which starts in Easton with a "Best of 5" series of singles matches. This first competition will see 5 of the 7 members of Team Big Japan face off, one-on-one, with 5 members of the CHIKARA roster. To level the playing field between the two nights, we're making these provisions regarding the action on Night 1:
-The "Best of 5 series" will be officiated by a referee from CHIKARA.
-The BJW wrestlers will handpick their opponents for the 5 matches.
Then, on Night 2 (in Philly), we'll offer up a giant 7 vs. 7 winner-stays-on gauntlet match, pitting all the members of Team BJW against a team put together by CHIKARA. The following provisions will govern this match:
-The Gauntlet match will be officiated by a referee from BJW.
-The BJW team will determine the order of entry into the match first, CHIKARA will then determine the order of entry for their participants, ordered by the respective team captains.
