Legendary Southern circuit manager Dexter "The Expert" Holley might have retired from ringside activity after twenty years, but he's not sitting at home in the rocking chair. Dexter is currently the Executive Producer of Pro Wrestling Unplugged's (www.ProWrestlingUnplugged.com) television programming. Heading into PWU's huge Dark Night 2008: The Fan Friendliest Night Ever, this coming Saturday, October 25, Dexter will be interviewed on Trash Talking Radio (www.TrashTalkingRadio.com) Tuesday. Trash Talking Radio, hosted by Mike Trash, is heard live Tuesdays at 7:00pm Eastern time each and every week.
Pro Wrestling Unplugged is one of only four wrestling promotions in the world today with a legitimately recognized World Championship, and is about to embark on an aggressive national expansion program. Also, PWU has a television deal in place which will see it broadcast in over 50 markets nationwide by the end of next year.
Holley is best remembered for his stint with NWA Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling in the mid 1990's managing NWA World Tag Team Champions Pat and CW Anderson, as well as NWA United States Champion Tully Blanchard. He has managed in over 5,000 matches, and has worked with some of the biggest names in the past 20 years of the sport. Starting his career in 1988, Holley has earned his rightful place as a true independent wrestling standout. His first book, The Expert Opinion: The Ultimate Insider's Look At Independent Professional Wrestling, has sold over 3,200 copies so far.
