United We Stand, Divided We Brawl in West Paterson, NJ
(WEST PATERSON, NJ)- Live Independent Wrestling Federation action returns with Evil Intentions Weekend this Saturday, October 25, 7:30 pm and Sunday, October 26, 4 pm, at IWF Centre, 32 Willow Way, West Paterson, NJ. Here is a full preview of the upcoming extravaganzas.
Day one Saturday, October 25 features an IWF Heavyweight Title Handicap Match as four-time champion Kevin Knight defends against the deceitful charmer Damian Adams and 340-pound mastodon Franciz with Commissioner Rich Ross. The Ross Family, in disarray after Franciz and former member Travis Blake lost the Tag Team Titles last month at Fall Brawl, look to strip ruthless rouge Knight of his heavyweight gold and bring it back to the stable alongside Adams' newly won American Title.
After Blake was unceremoniously dumped from the group, assaulted by Adams and Franciz, and banished from the IWF, The Ross Family has demonstrated they will stop at nothing to wreak havoc within the federation. Since he's not happy until you're not happy, the corrupt commish Boss Ross has ordered a "United We Stand, Divided We Brawl" edict to the rest of the IWF as he believes his pain of unrest within his family should be shared by all other partnerships.
In a Battle of Bigg Nutz, fun-loving Biggie Biggs teams with perennial no-hoper Evan Schwartz in a tag team contest against Mad Dawg Jenkins and High Definition Chris Steeler with feisty femme fatale Jana. Biggs and Jenkins, former tag team champions, find themselves facing each other in combat for the first time ever with the most unlikely partners imaginable. How will these unwilling combinations fare in this most unusual tag team encounter?
In a Battle of Tag Team Champions, new titleholders Hot Chocolate find themselves on opposite ends of the ring as Playboy Vik Voorhees meets his partner Dark Dragon Kareem West. A Special Guest Referee has been appointed and it is none other than their manager The Tasmanian She-Devil Jennifer. Can Jennifer show impartiality in officiating this bout and keep the friendship intact between Playboy and West?
In a Battle of Latin Revolution, Dominican Dynamo Tony Torres tangles with The Latino Wonder Antonio Rivera. In addition to being former tag team champions, Torres is a former Heavyweight Champion and Rivera is a former Junior Champion. Now, they compete for pride to see who is the true dominant force in their partnership.
United We Stand, Divided We Brawl continues in a Battle of Pretty Smart as Juicy Justin Corino takes to the mat against Bruising Bookworm Frank Scoleri. Together they held the tag team titles for nearly one year, now friction has caused a split between the two amateur grapplers that will be settled at Evil Intentions.
Other action October 25 features Hell Raiser Bryan Harley and Portuguese Powerhouse Dan Marques challenging the rookie duo of German Menace Kraig Stagg and Fady "Arabian Bull" Madani. Also appearing are Jason Roberts and BPA Barry.
The card for day two Sunday, October 26, features four title matches. Defending their crowns are IWF Heavyweight Champion Kevin Knight, American Champion Damian Adams, Tag Team Champions Playboy Vik Voorhees and Kareem West, and Junior Heavyweight Champion Jana.
Also scheduled to appear October 26 are Biggie Biggs, Franciz, Chris Steeler, Tony Torres, Antonio Rivera, Mad Dawg Jenkins, Justin Corino, Frank Scoleri, Evan Schwartz, Bryan Harley, Jennifer, Aaron Wylde, Jason Roberts, Matt Bennett and more.
