Here are the results from Ring of Honor in Danbury, CT last night:

- Show opened with Jimmy Jacobs. Homicide came out tore Jacobs a new one and then got beat up by Age of the Fall. Ruckus made the save, whch led to...

- Ruckus defeated Jason Blade.

- Sara Del Ray defeated Portuguese Princess Ariel. Basically a squash match.

- Rhett Titus defeated Grizzly Redwood. Daizee Haze attacked Titus before and after the match.

- Brent Albright defeated Jay Briscoe in a hard-fought match. The show really picked up from this match on. After this match, Larry Sweeney sent Bobby Dempsey to the ring to challenge Albright. Albright told Dempsey to be his own man and Dempsey got a huge pop from the crowd.

- Necro Butcher defeated Delirious (pinned) and Mark Briscoe in a No DQ match that went all over the entire arena and destroyed my section. An excellent match with lots of nice high spots.

Intermission

- Jerry Lynn defeated Claudio Castagnoli. Before the match Prince Nana appeared unannounced and pleaded for his job in ROH back.

- Go Shiozaki retained the FIP Heavyweight title defeating Austin Aries in a great back-and-forth match.

- LAX (2 falls by Homicide) defeated Sweet and Sour's Chris Hero and Davey Richards (one fall by Richards over Steen) and The Age of the Fall's Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black (one fall by Black over Homicide) and ROH Tag Team Champions El Generico and Kevin Steen (no falls) in a 30 minute Iron Man Tag Team match. Best match of the night, and well worth the price of admission!

The venue was smaller than the venue they used in Hartford last time in Connecticut. Didn't like the acoustics, but the crowd was good in general. Larry Sweeney got into it with some kids in our section during the FIP title match that was hilarious to watch.

Thanks,
Stephen LaBarre
