Evan Bourne is scheduled to undergo an MRI either today or later this week to determine how severe the ankle injury is that he suffered this past Tuesday at the Smackdown/ECW tapings, which was believed to be torn ligaments. At this point it is expected he could be out for as long as four months putting him at a return in February 2009, although nothing has been confirmed at this point. This injury could only be considered as bad timing with WWE pushing his character strongly in the last month or two on both Raw and ECW.
