AAW TAG TEAM TITLES- TLC MATCH
THE NORTHSTAR EXPRESS w/ Joey Eastman

vs
THE PHOENIX TWINS

In just a few short weeks one of the longest running and most personal feuds in AAW history comes to a head at the Windy City Classic IV as the The Northstar Express with manager Joey Eastman take on the Phoenix Twins for the AAW Tag Team Titles. The Twins will finally get their shot at the titles and a shot at revenge against Eastman in one of the most dangerous matches in wrestling. Tables, Ladders and Chairs! As the two top teams in AAW get ready to do battle on 11/28 let's take a look back at how we got to this point.

12/15/07- AAW "Twisted X-mas"- tensions begin to rise between the Phoenix Twins and their manager Joey Eastman after the Twins come up short in their bid to take the AAW tag team titles from The Murder City Machine Guns. Eastman is enraged when the Twins agree to shake hands with Sabin and Shelley after the bout.

1/19/08- AAW "Path of Redemption"- much to the Twins chagrin Joey Eastman announces he has acquired the contracts of Darrin Corbin and Ryan Cruz "The Northstar Express". He tells the Twins he has secured a spot for his new team in the AAW tag title match later that night. The Northstar Express goes on to defeat The Murder City Machine Guns and the Phoenix Twins to win the belts after Tweek Phoenix refuses to use Eastman's baton but Ryan Cruz has no problem using the weapon on Chris Sabin to win the match. Eastman and the Northstar's celebrate as his relationship with the Twins is now up in the air.

2/9/08- AAW "Bloody Valentine"- Joey Eastman is not at the show as he is vacationing on the east coast. The Twins earn a victory over Chris Hybrid and Jeff Brooks and then call out the NSE. Corbin and Cruz reassure the Twins that Eastman is working on a title shot for Tweek and Dash.

3/8/08- AAW 4th Anniversary- Eastman returns to the Twins corner as they are now gaining popularity and they defeat Absolute Answer. He tells the crowd not to cheer Tweek and Dash as they do not need the support of the fans. After the match Tweek and Dash ask Eastman once again for their title shot as Eastman back peddles. Later in the night Eastman appears in the corner of Corbin and Cruz as they defeat Krotch and Zach Gowen to retain the tag titles.

4/5/08- AAW "War is Coming"- The situation finally comes to a head as Tweek and Dash show up at the building to find that Eastman had not gotten them booked on the show. The Twins take it upon themselves to get into a six man tag match where they partner with Egotistico Fantastico against the NSE and Ryan Boz. The Twins are victorious and after the match publically fire and humiliate Joey Eastman.

5/3/08 AAW "Defining Moment" - The Twins finally get the Northstar Express in the ring but due to some crafty legal work by Joey Eastman, the titles are not on the line. Tweek and Dash defeat Corbin and Cruz but then suffer a beating after the match when Joey Eastman Worldwide member Arik Cannon comes in and attacks the Twins. Eastman gets the better of Tweek and Dash on this night.

6/21/08- AAW "Point of No Return"- The Phoenix Twins defeat Danny Daniels and Trik Davis to earn the #1 contender spot for the tag titles. Later that night the Northstar Express and Joey Eastman Worldwide hit the ring to celebrate their victory over the Murder City Machine Guns the previous show. Tweek and Dash crash the party and decide they want their title shot right then and there. The feud takes a violent turn as Corbin and Cruz along with Arik Cannon and Mason Beck brutally attack the Twins. Dash Phoenix is held as Eastman takes off his belt and jabs the buckle into his eye. The referee says there is no way Dash can compete as Adrenaline Overdose hit the ring. Tweek Phoenix returns an old favor to Shane Holister and Bryce Benjamin and relinquishes the title shot to them. Adrenaline Overdose goes on to defeat the NSE and wins the Tag Team Titles.

7/12/08 AAW "Scars and Stripes IV"- The Twins and Northstar Express meet in a grudge match where the losers of the match will receive ten lashes with a belt. With the help of Joey Eastman, the NSE is victorious but Eastman has another devious card up his sleeve. Eastman informs the Twins that the fine print of the contract states the winners can choose who whips the winners. Eastman humiliates the Twins and makes Dash whip his own brother. The feud is now at a boiling point.

9/6/08 AAW "Hostile Intentions"- The Northstar Express regain the AAW Tag Team Titles from Shane Hollister in a handicap match. Eastman informs the Phoenix Twins his lawyer has gotten him a restraining order and therefore they will never get a shot at the NSE and the tag titles and they cannot come within 300 feet of his person.

10/4/08- AAW "Reign of Violence"- With the restraining order in place, Joey Eastman intentionally bumps into Tweek and Dash backstage and petitions to AAW owner Jim Lynam to have them removed from the building. Lynam agrees to have them leave after their match. The Twins are victorious over the Osirian Portal and Eastman comes to ringside with security to have them escorted right out the front door. Later that night the Twins buy front row seats and are ringside as Joey Eastman Worldwide is in the ring. A wild brawl ensues as Eastman's men go down in a six man tag to Zero Gravity and Shane Holister.

11/108- AAW "Massacre on 26th St"- Jim Lynam informs Joey Eastman to put a stop to the restraining order or he is fired from AAW. Eastman has no choice but to oblige and Lynam announces at the Windy City Classic it will be the Northstar Express vs The Phoenix Twins in a TLC match for the AAW Tag Team Titles. With the restraining order dropped Tweek and Dash immediately go after Joey who is rescued by Corbin and Cruz.

It all comes to a head in just a few short weeks at the Berwyn Eagles Club. Do not miss AAW's "Windy City Classic IV"!
