Ring of Honor's first weekend with Adam Pearce as booker has been described as very interesting. Minor changes such as every match having a heel who tried to taunt the crowd to get heat starting out and adding a 20 count rule outside the ring was enforced. There were no dives and less high spots in early matches on the card. More finishes caused by outside interference took place, while less weapons were used. There were also more DQ finishes which was rare to see in ROH under former booker Gabe Sapolosky. Most of the changes were minor for the most part and many saw the wrestling as the same in the top matches of the cards.
The 11/7 event in Montreal, Quebec, Canada drew around 350 fans and the 11/8 event in Markham, Ontario, Canada drew around 650 fans, down from the 1,200 fans they drew in the debut show in the Toronto market on July 25. One issue given for low attendance at the Markham show was no public transportation from Toronto to Markham and the show taking place in a rural part of Markham. Montreal is up in the air as despite it remaining a strong market for WWE, both TNA and ROH didn't do well in the market at all.
