Our good friend Marcus Cygy sent this in:
So today I went shopping for the TNA Cross The Line DVD box set and it wasn't there. All I saw were some 2005 PPV DVD's, so I went and asked someone where all the TNA Wrestling DVD's were.
The employee at my local Future Shop in Coquitlam, BC told me that they will no longer be carrying TNA DVD's. I asked for how long and why, and all he could say was that it was indefinitely. The only way to get a TNA DVD through Future Shop now is if you order online, which I never do through them.
As for the reason why, well Best Buy is the owner of Future Shop, and today it has been released and publicized that Best Buy is entering financial troubles in the United States. Market sales have gone down tremendously, so they are lessening their stock in retail stores with a push towards online sales instead. Only the essentials will be in stores. Best Buy is expecting to lose a lot of money this Christmas season.
WWE DVD's and UFC DVD's were all still there, if anyone is wondering about those.
So because I was at the Coquitlam Centre mall, I went to go get the TNA DVD box set at HMV. They still carry TNA DVD's here in Canada. Out of curiosity I also went to Best Buy afterwards across the street, and they too carry TNA DVD's right now. I was told over there that while Best Buy will be cutting down on the quantity of their stock, it will be Future Shop, their sister company if you will, that will be cutting down at a much quicker rate.

In response to an earlier post regarding AJ Styles now being featured on the cover of the TNA Wrestling: Cross the Line 3-Pack DVD box set, I was at the Ring of Honor show last weekend in Markham, Ontario, and they were actually selling this box set at their merch table, before it's official release even. However, ALL copies featured Christian Cage on the cover.
