The scheduled pro wrestling debut of Reid Flair, son of Ric Flair, that was set for this Saturday night in Chicago for the Pro Wrestling Championship promotion has been canceled. The promotion issued a press release on Monday night stating the following:

"Due to circumstances beyond our control Reid Flair will not be making his professional wrestling debut at PCW's"4ever Flair" November 22 due to health issues. PCW and its fans wish Reid a speedy recovery and look forward to Reid Flair wrestling in PCW in the near future."

PWInsider reports that those close to the situation have stated the match was canceled at the request of Ric Flair as he felt Reid needed more seasoning before making his debut and that "health issues" had nothing to do with it. Ric has reportedly made working with his son a major priority and doesn't want him to look bad in his debut match as his first match will no doubt draw lots of attention.
