3XWrestling to hold Toy Drive for Toys for Tots November 28
3XWrestling returns to inPlay of Des Moines November 28 when they present "Black Friday." inPlay, located at 615 3rd Street in Des Moines, is the official home of 3XWrestling events in 2008. Doors will open at 7pm with a 7:30 first bell.
In the main event at "Black Friday," 3XWrestling Heavyweight Champion Casanova will defend his title for the first time against "Delicious" Devin Carter. This will be the continuation of a long-running feud between these two men who collectively formed one of the most storied tag teams in 3XWrestling history. In August, Casanova delivered an unprovoked attack on Carter, and in September he stole the 3XW title belt.
"Black Friday" will also feature a match for the 3XWrestling Cruiserweight Championship, as 3XW Cruiserweight Champion "The Rockstar" Jimmy Rockwell takes on the first 3XWrestling Cruiserweight Champion, "Torturous" Tony Sly. There will also be a Traditional Thanksgiving Eight-Man Elimination Tag Match featuring Maddog McDowell, The All Star, Ricky Kwong and Donnie Peppercricket taking on Ryan Slade, Aaron Masterson-Slade, Brady A. Dezire and AJ Smooth.
There will be a total of six matches on the card. "The Rebel" Jeremy Wyatt, 3XW Tag Champion Mark Sterling, "The Unbreakable" Zach Thompson, Kraig Keesaman and Mike Sydal, the brother of WWE superstar Evan Bourne, will also be in action. The full announced card is listed below.
Along with the special holiday start time, Black Friday tickets also have a special holiday price: $10 for adults, $6 for children. In addition, members of the Marines Color Guard will be in attendance at Black Friday to collect new, unopened toys for their Toys for Tots program. 3XWrestling will give fans an extra $2 off their ticket with a donation to Toys for Tots. Advance tickets can be purchased at inPlay, Jay's CD & Hobby located at 5921 SE 14th in Des Moines, by e-mail at Ticketinfo@3xwrestling.com, or via the store at 3XWrestling.com. At the door, tickets will be $8 with a donation of a new, unopened toy to Toys for Tots.
