Update on The Rock's WWE return, WM note and Teddy Hart fakes knee injury?
On Thursday, February 26, 2004 at 3:26 PM EST - Althought this has yet to be confirmed, it appears The Rock will be making his return to the WWE this Monday night on RAW in Atlanta, GA. Commercials in the Atlanta area this past Monday night plugged the Atlanta return of Triple H and aired a video of The Rock, saying "rumor has it, the Great One may make his return in Atlanta." When word of this broke, a good number of tickets were purchased on Tuesday. The WWE was reportedly looking to recruit seat fillers for the Atlanta show (something they do to fill empty seats on the floor), but it appears those plans have now been canceled due to more tickets being sold.
- It appears the reported "knee injury" that Teddy Hart suffered last night before the NWA-TNA pay per view event may have been something pre-planned by Hart himself. Mr. Aguila, who Hart faced, reportedly told the Team AAA Mexican crew that Hart had informed him ahead of time about the spot and that he would be doing the knee injury from there. Hart has a reputation among many Calgary wrestlers for claiming "injuries" when he is in a bad mood and was defintely in a bad mood following his altercation with CM Punk.- An upcoming WWE program titled "The Mania of WrestleMania" will be airing on March 3rd at 9pm on UPN. The show will feature interviews with numerous WWE superstars and Jesse Ventura will be the narrator for the program.Credit: Dave Meltzer @ WrestlingObserver.com
