The following is an excerpt from Wildcat Chris Harris' column on the renewing of AMW's contract with TNA:

After one of the most stressful months of my career, the decision has been made to stay in TNA. After several sources informed me that there was interest from the WWE, I made some contacts and tried to look at the pros and cons. While some may think that it is a no brainer to make the jump, after looking at the options I had to consider that it may not be the right time. After many sleepless nights, a final decision was made last week. Storm and I sat in the office and resigned with TNA. We are happy with our decision and hope to make this another successful year for TNA and America's Most Wanted.

I tried to get advice from several of the guys that I respected in the business and I received more reasons why I should go. I believed that it was a good move and one that would take me to the next level of my career. I had my mind made up and was prepared to give notice to TNA. When the change of heart came I am really not sure. To be honest, there was a lot about the details of the switch to WWE that I was uncomfortable with. It made me question whether or not it was a good move. At the same time, TNA stepped in and made some changes to make me feel that Storm and I were worth it to them to stay.

While the bottom line is that I have to do what is going to be the best for me, I am also one of the very few wrestlers who believe loyalty is very important. TNA gave me a huge opportunity and I will always appreciate that. I would never want to burn a bridge with a company that has done that for me. I would hope that if this option ever comes around again and a different decision is made, that I would get a handshake and a "thanks for everything and good luck".

It's funny...as I sat up late on many nights and couldn't help but think that as I came up in the business the past 10 years, this is the one spot that any wrestler would love to be in. Now that I was in that spot, I had no idea what in the hell to do. I believe I made the right decision. Only time will tell.
