- The injuries suffered last night by Eugene and Lita were both legitimate and not planned. Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore dislocated his kneecap after a dropkick during the World Tag Team Title Match. He is being evaluated by doctors today. Lita on the other hand suffered a sprained knee following her dive off the ring apron. Her injury will not require surgery.

- The WWE Intercontinental Title Match between Shelton Benjamin and Maven was kept short for a reason last night. Many WWE officials were not happy with weekend House Show matches the two had and were concerned that Maven would be unable to perform at PPV level.

- The initial word coming from the show last night was that holding the show in Puerto Rico was a great choice, especially for a Pay Per View event. It should be noted that many WWE wrestlers knew going in that it was a one-match show given the amount of top talent booked for the Elimination Chamber.
