Eric Young injury from tag title match, funny Abyss return note and VIP
On Monday, January 17, 2005 at 10:31 PM EST - Eric Young of Team Canada is said to be doing okay after suffering a giant knot on his forehead early in the NWA World Tag Team Title match last night at Final Resolution. The swelling was said to have gone down a good amount later in the night. It should be noted that Young suffered another knot on the back of his head that was not noticed on the PPV broadcast. Young received praised by both officials and workers and gained lots of respect for working on an injured foot in the last few months with no complaints.
- On a rather funny note, Jeremy Borash was heard telling various individuals that he wasted an entire morning editing Abyss out of TNA's opening videos and packages due to the news breaking last week that he was leaving the company. Obviously, TNA kept a tight lid on his return and it surprised many at the show last night.
- There reportedly was a situation before the start of the Final Resolution PPV last night in Orlando at Soundstage 21 in Universal Studios. When the doors opened for VIP passholders to enter the show, a mad rush ensued and was so strong that some TNA officials were nervous that someone could get trampled and become seriously hurt on their watch. Don Harris stepped in quickly and controlled the flow of those entering the area. No one was hurt, but TNA issued a warning earlier today on their official message board that if the incident took place at any future TNA events, the company would get rid of the VIP entrance immediately.
