New WWE magazine offer, McMahon/Austin on CBS note, Mark Madden
On Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 5:22 PM EST - WWE is currently promoting a new offer for both the RAW and SmackDown magazine at 26 Issues for $29.97 (it is $39.97 for those in Canada & $69.97 Internationally). They are labeling it as the "best offer yet." Also, a subscription to this new offer will also include a free copy of the WWE Best of 2004 magazine. For more on the offer, click here.
Aside from a few good articles from time to time, the magazines really aren't that ground breaking. I recently stopped my subscription when the "brand extension" aspect found its way into the magazine department of the company when the former WWF/WWE magazine changed its coverage to the SmackDown brand only.
- The scheduled appearance of Vince McMahon & Steve Austin on "The Late Late Show w/ Craig Ferguson" on CBS last night didn't end up taking place. The schedule of upcoming guests for the show (Click Here) doesn't list McMahon or Austin for this week. It isn't know if it was a simple scheduling mistake or if both will appear down the line. (Thanks to both Imran Barlas & FateRiddeR for sending word of this as well)
David Nordby sent in the following... I was just watching sportscenter when I saw former WCW announcer Mark Madden. He was reporting from Pittsburgh ESPN Radio. He has gained alot of weight and was breathing heavily. He also is starting to go bald. Just thought that was an interesting note.
