-Ricky Steamboat recently discussed his start in ROH. Steamboat says Les Thatcher got him to a personal appearance, where "the response was great, so they kept using me."

-Gabe Sapolsky, head booker for ROH, recently said he feels Ricky Steamboat is more than qualified to be an agent in the WWE. Sapolsky says, "Steamboat is one of the best ever when it comes to doing all the small things and interacting with the crowd and those are the things that really make a match great. Steamboat does so many subtle mannerisms and is always working and doing something even if it's just a slight movement that draws the crowd into him. He is so good at listening to the crowd and reacting to them. Every young wrestler should study him. He always had a great amount of charisma and now he has a very distinguished and tough charisma. And, of course, his wrestling is second to none."

-Shawn "Khosrow" Daivari, who broke into the wrestling business along with ROH champion Austin Aries, recently spoke on Aries' title win. Daivari says, "I was totally shocked when I read that, and then immediately happy and excited for Aries. I always laugh that when we broke in together in Minnesota, we were the two smallest guys, and everyone said that we would never make it anywhere or out of Minnesota, but so far we're the only two from that generation that have gone on to bigger and better things."
