According to this article, Viacom will be cancelling SmackDown on UPN once it's contract expires. The article discusses future plans for UPN, and notes that SmackDown is not included in those plans.

Leslie Moonves, co-president and co-chief operating office for Viacom says, "It still makes us a decent amount of money...When you think about the powerhouses of CBS and NBC on Thursday night, it's great counter-programming. (But) it doesn't fit into the overall (programming) strategy."

- In a span of just 9 weeks, The Rise and Fall of ECW has become the second highest selling WWE DVD release, passing The Ultimate Ric Flair Collection this past week.

The Rise and Fall of ECW has sold 94,758 copies, while Flair's sold 93,071. Still at number one is WrestleMania XX which has sold 109,266 copies.
