- NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett suffered a reported eye injury while taping a segment for the WB's "Blue Collar TV" show last night in Atlanta. Jarrett was injured after a splinter flew into his eye after he hit one of the local wrestlers used in the skit with a guitar. He was later treated and released by a local Atlanta hospital. It isn't believed to be serious at this time, but wasn't taken lightly due to Jarrett having lasik surgery in the past.

The segment taped last night, which looks to air some time in April, was held at the old Center Stage location in Atlanta that was used by WCW for their Saturday Night program. 500 fans were on hand for the taping which saw the stars of the Blue Collar TV show attempt to become professional wrestlers. Those TNA stars that appeared in the skit included Jeff Jarrett, AJ Styles and Abyss, while Don West and Jeremy Borash were on hand for announcing duties.

Producers for the show were said to be so impressed with the TNA stars that they have asked all five to return later in the season to be used in another skit.
