Idea pitched for Jarrett to drop NWA World Title, Rhodes/book + Banks
On Thursday, February 3, 2005 at 12:41 PM EST - At the WrestleReunion event this past weekend in Tampa, FL, Tully Blanchard proposed an idea that he beat Jeff Jarrett for the NWA World Heavyweight Title and then travel to Orlando the following Tuesday to drop it back to Jarrett. From what is known, the idea was never taken seriously and although many felt it would have been a great moment to see at the convention, it would have been a very bad move on TNA's part business wise.
- On a related noted, Dusty Rhodes announced at the WrestleReunion event as well that New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner has written the foreword in his new autobiograhy.
