Low Overnight Smackdown rating, Luger pleads guilty + ECW show note
On Friday, February 4, 2005 at 1:12 PM EST -WWE Smackdown drew a low 3.2 fast national rating yesterday. The final rating will be announced later today.
-WWE is currently looking in to bringing in former ECW talent for the upcoming ECW themed PPV. Just about anyone who used to be in ECW could be considered an option for the show. Unfortunately, Rob Van Dam is out indefinately following his recent knee surgery, and could miss the show depending on how fast his knee heals. This is only speculation since almost nothing for this show is confirmed as of yet, but one option for RVD could be working as a commentator perhaps, as the relationship between WWE and Joey Styles is shaky.
-The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported today that Lex Luger plead guilty to possession of three types of steroids. The case stems from the April 2003 incident where Elizabeth Hulette, aka Miss Elizabeth, died in Luger's home. The article is the second one listed on this page.
