Another Triple H/Benoit correction, WWE stars on OTR and House Show
On Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at 1:50 PM EST - In response to our post from yesterday correcting what Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler said on commentary this past Monday night on RAW about Triple H never defeating Chris Benoit before in a one-on-one contest, WV reader Stefan Gorges sent word about when Triple H pinned Chris Benoit at No Mercy 2000.
- Imran Barlas sent word that Chris Jericho will be on TSN's "Off the Record" with Michael Landsberg on March 22nd, while Edge & Christian will be on tomorrow (March 17).
- Nicole Brown sent in the following House Show report from Mobile, Alabama this past Saturday...
William Regal & Tajiri defeated La Resistance to retain the World Tag Team Titles.
Chris Masters defeated Rhyno.
Shelton Benjamin defeated Gene Snitsky to retain the WWE IC Title.
Victoria defeated Molly Holly. Val Venis was the special guest referee for the contest.
Chris Jericho defeated Christian.
Kane defeated Tyson Tomko.
Chris Benoit defeated Muhammad Hassan via DQ.
Everything is the same as the Dothan show except the main event which was promoted as Randy Orton and Batista vs. HHH and Edge became Shawn Michaels and Batista vs. HHH and Edge and Batista/Michaels won.
It should be noted that a lot of We Want Matt and various other negatives things about Edge and Lita were shouted out from directly behind me. I hope this is helpful. Attendance was pretty good, it wasn't a full house but all the sections except the really bad nosebleed section were filled.
