-For those who follow ROH, it is well known that Steve Corino was scheduled to be part of the main even match at Back to Basics, but did not take part in that match. Corino updated his LiveJournal recently, and included was his side of the story for missing the show. The following is an excerpt from Corino's LiveJournal:

I have gotten a bunch of emails asking me about my status in ROH. To be honest and this might shock everyone but there was no argument on Saturday. Gabe and I just had a difference of opinion and I chose not to work there anymore. I am not even sure if Gabe would have wanted me to work there anymore. It was not a personal thing but any stretch of the imagination, only business. Gabe is a great booker and his product is top notch. I think it is the best pro wrestling promotion in the States right now, but its not for me. I hope my departure does not effect (or is it affect?) Ricky and Alex, because they are working really hard and deserve a chance. I have said many times that ROH is the new ECW because it is the alternative to sports entertainment and its true. I wish nothing but the best for Ring Of Honor and its wrestlers.
