- A report was released earlier on Friday that TNA's Jeff Jarrett was in Los Angeles regarding meetings with Fox Sports Net about future TV programming and rumored discussions with Viacom. It turns out that wasn't true, but Jarrett is scheduled to be in Los Angeles next week for related meetings.

The word making the rounds regarding why Jarrett didn't end up making the trip is more than likely due to the fact that Frank Romano, TNA's Chief Operating Officer, resigned from the company yesterday. Two strong sources within TNA are stating that he resigned due to him being quote "forced out" due to internal unhappiness with his overall work. It should also be noted that other sources are indicating the total opposite, saying Romano left on his own and was never forced out. All of his information has been removed from TNAwrestling.com.

For those unaware of Romano, he was the Vice President of Event Programing & Operations for In Demand (PPV carrier) before taking on the Chief Operating Officer position. He joined the company in June of 2003 and worked out of the New York City office. Romano did attend the Impact! tapings on Tuesday night so the decision regarding his departure went down rather quickly.
