Steve Austin comments on a TNA PPV, Impact! change & Johnny Devine
On Monday, March 21, 2005 at 2:30 PM EST - Diamond Dallas Page has posted a new commentary on his website. Among other things discussed, Page talks about his NWA World Title Match with Jeff Jarrett at Destination X two weeks ago and how Steve Austin watched it with him. Here is a small excerpt from the commentary:
"I just got home from the Pay Per View... I had to go to ATL to get my body rehabed ... I was a mess. I appreciate all the rave reviews we got on the match. Stone Cold was at my house last night watching and he remarked halfway through the match..."You're not even breathing heavy." That's saying something since I only wrestle those big matches once a month. My YRG (Yoga for Regular Guys) workout regimen must be working out since that's really the only cardio that I go. I wanted Steve's opinion of the match and he told me he really enjoyed it...and you know if Steve didn't like it, he would have told me that it was a piece of $hit. The crowd was red hot. They wanted to see me take that title so bad and they thought I was right up til the last second...or should I say the last pounce (Monty Brown turned on me and hit me with the Ponce). I thought it was really good booking because nobody saw it coming. It's going to help get Monty Brown over as a hot heel."

- In the Impact! section of TNAwrestling.com, the listing for the times now shows a replay on Thursday's at 2am. When the show first switched to the 4pm timeslot, two replays followed with one on Friday at 2am and on Saturday at midnight. This has yet to be mentioned by TNA so far.
- Team Canada member Johnny Devine, who underwent surgery on his torn ACL and MCL recently, was told that he may be able to return to the ring in four to six months. This comes as good news as initial reports stated he would easily be out for a full year.
