- In a story that continues to develop as I write this, it appears that Dan Maff's wrestling career has come to a temporary hault. Maff has cancelled all future dates he had scheduled on the indys.

This morning both Jersey All-Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor announced that Dan Maff is done with the respective promotions.

JAPW promoter Fat Frank issued a statement saying Maff is done with JAPW and wishes him the best of luck in the future. JAPW has stripped Maff of the JAPW Heavyweight Title, and the title is now vacant.

ROH promoter Gabe Sapolsky issued a seperate statement regarding the situation saying that Maff "has been forced to pull off future ROH events and is now out of ROH. We will have an announcement on the Tag Title situation early next week in the Newswire. We wish Dan Maff the best in his future endeavors." ROH has not yet said what will happen with the tag titles, but needless to say, those plans do not involve Maff.

Although there are conflicting reports at the moment, it seems the reason Maff is now out of these two promotions is because of a very serious, real life confrontation with his trainer, Homicide, who is a main event wrestler in both JAPW and ROH. It seems that Homicide has got Maff "black balled" from these two companies. Although it is unconfirmed at this time, many are saying that Homicide's actions are appropriate given the currently unknown situation that occured between the two.
