Backstage heat on Muhammad Hassan, Cena/Byte This + WM schedule
On Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 1:55 PM EST - During the match between Muhammad Hassan and Shawn Michaels this past Monday night on RAW, Hassan did a "throat slash" gesture across Michaels' neck towards the end of the contest. There was reportedly some heat on Hassan backstage for doing it during the match and many don't expect him to ever do it again.
Thanks to TIVO (which everyone should invest in if you haven't already), I went back and watched the part in the match where this took place. It did come off pretty bad and neither Jim Ross or Jerry Lawler made mention of it when it happened.
