Chris Jericho has strong words about WWE firing Matt Hardy, plus more
On Monday, April 18, 2005 at 4:42 PM EST - Chris Jericho was a guest on the Opie and Anthony show this morning. One fan who emailed the show asked Jericho what his thoughts were on the whole Matt Hardy/Lita/Edge love triangle. The fan's email said "watch Jericho squirm" while answering the question.
Jericho responded by saying he has nothing to be ashamed about because he was not involved in the fiasco. Jericho simply called it "an extremely f***ed up situation, to lose your job and your girlfriend in a short period of time, for doing nothing wrong."
Jericho was also asked about HHH's domination on RAW. He replied by saying that he isn't hurting business, and he is the star of the show, like Hogan was 10 years ago.
