Note on Kevin Nash at Lockdown PPV, Chris Candido note, Blue Collar TV
On Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at 1:54 PM EST - For those who caught the Lockdown PPV this past Sunday night, a promo aired of Kevin Nash backstage showing off his staph infection. Some wondered if Nash simply did the shot and left. Nash did arrive at Universal Studios around 1pm that day and stayed the entire night despite not making an appearance later in the PPV during the "Lethal Lockdown" Match that he was previously advertised for. According to reports, Nash wasn't used in front of the crowd because the "booking" didn't call for it. Some put the blame on Dusty Rhodes for not using Nash later, although many feel Rhodes is becoming an easy target for negative things in the company these days. It should be noted that Nash volunteered to come to the PPV and was not paid for his appearance.
- According to sources within TNA, the company will be taking care of all medical expenses for Chris Candido after he dislocated his ankle at the Lockdown PPV this past Sunday night. Many feel this is a very classy move by TNA to do this. For those who didn't catch it, WrestleView's Ben Bauer reported earlier today that Candido's surgery yesterday was a success.
