SmackDown and Velocity Taping Results - Birmingham, England

- The following tapings took place on Tuesday night in Birmingham, England:

WWE Velocity Tapings (Air Date - April 30):
- The Basham Brothers defeated Scotty 2 Hotty & Shannon Moore.
- Funaki & Nunzio defeated Billy Kidman & Akio.
- WWE United States Champion Orlando Jordan defeated Charlie Haas.

WWE SmackDown Tapings (Air Date - April 28):

- Carlito's Cabana: Kurt Angle was the special guest this week. During the segment, Steve Lewington of OVW fame interrupted to challenge Angle. Angle said he didn't want to wrestle before tonight's Fatal Fourway Main Event. He then attacked Lewington from behind, applied the Ankle Lock and Lewington tapped out. Carlito then spit some apple in Lewington's face.

- Chavo Guerrero defeated Paul London in a Non-Title Match.

- Backstage, Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio are shown when Chavo Guerrero comes in. Chavo tries to "stir the pot" between the two. Guerrero says that Mysterio was more like family to him than Chavo.

- MNM defeated Eddie Guerrero & Rey Mysterio to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles. During the match, Eddie refused to get tagged in allowing Mysterio to get pinned. After the match, MNM beat down Mysterio as Eddie watched on. The crowd in Birmingham started an "Eddie Sucks" chant.

- Backstage, Heidenreich read a poem to Booker T & Sharmell. The poem said nice things about Booker and he said he now has two friends.

- Matt Morgan defeated local wrestler.

- Backstage, Big Show told JBL that his losing streak would continue later tonight.

- WWE Champion John Cena defeated Rene Dupree.

- JBL defeated Kurt Angle, Big Show & Booker T in the Fatal Fourway Match to become the #1 contender for the WWE Championship. Big Show was eliminated first after getting an Angle Slam from Kurt Angle through the announcers table. Booker T was eliminated second after a chair shot from Kurt Angle. The finish saw Booker come back and nail Angle with a chair, allowing JBL to get the pinfall.
