Dustin Rhodes arrested on a domestic abuse charge after incident in FL
On Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at 6:19 PM EST - PWInsider.com is reporting that former WWE & current TNA star Dustin Rhodes was arrested this past Sunday night in Orlando, FL following the Lockdown PPV after a domestic dispute with his girlfriend at the hotel where the couple was staying at. Rhodes was taken into state custody by local Orange County authorities and was later released on a $1,000 bond.
Rhodes, who did not attend the Impact! tapings last night in Orlando at Universal Studios, appeared in court yesterday and was ordered by the court to have no contact with his girlfriend, maintain a separte residence and refrain from using any alcohol or narcotics in the future. As noted above, he was bonded out at $1,000 and no further court hearings regarding the incident were scheduled.
According to other reports, Rhodes' girlfriend was spotted backstage at the event despite Dustin not attending. Also, there is no word on if Rhodes will be booked on the upcoming Hard Justice PPV next month on May 15 as the card was just about finalized at the tapings.
