- In regards to the upcoming WWE draft lottery, the latest word is that it might not take place on just one show but rather take place over two or even additional editions of RAW and SmackDown. A final plan has not been decided at this point as the working plan was to have it take place following SmackDown's "Judgment Day" PPV on May 22. There were still reportedly a number of concepts and variations being considered at meetings this week.

- The recent Brock Lesnar vs. WWE lawsuit has now seen World Wrestling Entertainment aquire attorneys Jerry S. McDevitt, Mark D. Feczko and Christopher Michalski for their legal team on the case. McDevitt has had a working relationship with WWE for quite some time as he is the head of WWE's legal cases, which included Vince McMahon's steroid distribution charges in 1994 in the state of New York.

- On a related court case note, WWE recently won a civil judgment of $396,000 on April 8 against B.M. Korea Limited, a Korean-based entertainment company. Judge Mark Kravitz of the District Court of Connecticut ordered a default judgment in favor of WWE, who sued B.M. back in December of 2003 regarding money owed from a licensing agreement for distribution rights of WWE videos in South Korea. The whole gist of the case was that WWE claimed that after signing a three-year distribution agreement that B.M. Korea failed to live up to their end of the contract seven months later by refusing to send money owed to the company.
