Interesting note on Christian segment on RAW in Birmingham, more
On Friday, April 29, 2005 at 2:22 AM EST - The following was sent in by Nick Dean, who attended the 4-25 Raw taping in Birmingham, UK this past Monday night:
"Hi. Just to let you know in case it hasn't previously been noted. I was at the Raw taping in Birmingham on Monday night and after watching the replay here in the UK last night, it is clear that the WWE have done some serious sound dubbing.
Christian got huge pops and these were severely doctored into some boos by the time of air. The guy just oozes charisma, pardon the pun. When he came out first of all for his 'state of the peeps address' he was cheered so much that during the commercial break he and Tomko seemed stunned and Tomko held out his hands as if to 'say just go with it'. His attempts to get heel heat kinda failed. Batista was loudly booed at some points during the main event with Christian. Also, Edge was subject to several very loud chants of either 'you screwed Matt' or 'we want Matt' during his match with Val, some of which were started by myself. It seemed like the vast majority of the crowd knew the situation as well."
